The hotel is off the beaten track but nicely done. It’s old and it’s apparent. Staff are very friendly and will help in any way they can. They are very pet friendly, and even have a Dog Bar … Food is quite good and well prepared. You can park your car in front of your room/bungalow.

Great location - very dilapidated areas and rooms. Seemed a number of people travelling with dogs which was probably useful. However the common areas, pavements and rooms were very tired and unacceptable. The cost was reasonable but it’s unacceptably knackered out to use an English term

On a stopover from the Atlantic Coast going eastwards, we choose this hotel on the basis of location and Accor-own descriptions. The daytime staff was friendly and helpful after a mishap (we had accidentally made a reservation for a year later!) and check-in was fine.. The menu choice for dinner is small but good and the food is good. But then: 1. The "Do not disturb" card for the door missing in the room, no card at the reception where they offered to bring one to the room. This never happened!, 2. The rooms have stains on the floor, and several bulidings are blocked due to apparently very necessary renovations and the beds (!!!) have matresses which are as old as the buildings which are nice but probably from the 80-ies. One feels the metal springs with every movement and one rollls into the middle of the bed due to the poor quality of the worn out mattresses. The bathroom has an elctric heater of the 80-ies with unbearable noise! 3. The breakfast is of poor quality as well (scrambled eggs of courseare made from something like egg beater in the tetra pack but then watery due to lack of cooking or heating up with no taste at all!). OK: local cheeses and salami, organic yoghurt... some fruits, but nothing really special. Positive to mention the automatic machine with "Espresso ristretto" as a choice and usually friendly personnel. Bot all in all a miserable relationship between (poor) quality and (high) price. That is the reason for "Never again!).

I have a platinum card of Accor, but I never saw an old hotel like this. It is a very old motel in fact. You have to go out of the hotel reception, enter an old building and climb the stairs (no elevator). The room is old with very outdated and old beds and a small desk were you can not work. The curtains does not close and in two beds you will tap your head, as it is too low. I never wrote a review, but in this case I have to warn people.

During our 3 night stay our room was not serviced. The pool had no sun canopies, and many of the sun beds were torn and unusable. The price of a beer was €10, and breakfast €18 per person. Far too expensive. The place needs a lot of updating. There were dirty dishes in the hallway outside our room which weren’t cleared up for two days. Unacceptable.

Nice hotel, although some things were a little dated. Staff were great, and the hotel was very clean. The location was great, being close to the motorway, but also close to Auxerre, which is well worth a visit.
