Lovely little park! The staff are extremely friendly, we even got some welcome chocolates (for Easter)! The toilets are extremely clean, floor towels are provided… very considerate. The camp kitchen is beautiful, has a large variety of cooking supplies. Coffee machines and vending machines are provided, amazing coffees! The park is very well kept. The park is located in a good spot, extremely close to the Main Street. A sheet is given by staff to customers of all available restaurants, bakeries, and cafes, very helpful! Sadly, the park is located close to the train tracks… so every few hours you can hear the trains pass. Overall, this is an amazing park! We will definitely be coming back for another trip!!!

We stayed on a powered site. Lovely caravan park with very clean facilities. Close to Ararat main street so an easy walk. Matt & Kayleen (the owners) are both very helpful and easy to chat with and nothing is too much trouble for them. This is the first time we have stayed at this park but it is going to be our go-to park from now on whenever we stop in Ararat Julie & Dom

Having left our motel in Halls Gap on Vic Emergency advice as bushfires approached the town, we were concerned finding alternative accommodation after midnight may be tricky. Acacia saved the day (night!) by answering the phone and having a one cabin available. We checked in at 1am and flopped into a very comfortable bed, sorry we couldn't make use of the kitchen facilities! Our 2-bed cabin was fresh and new, and super-clean. We are not usually caravan park people but will re-consider after this very positive experience!

The grassed,shady camp sites were large and flat which was perfect for our swags. The camp kitchen was a good size and well stocked with all the extras for a comfortable stay. The bathrooms were clean and the addition of bathmats was a little added bonus.

As someone who has had a negative experience at another park in town, finding this park is a breath of fresh air. The welcoming atmosphere here was exactly what we needed. The staff were friendly,the facilities were clean, and overall it was a great place to stay highly recommended!

We stayed here overnight, the cabin was nice but there is a lot of road and train noise during the night. The caravan park is located just off the main road and next to the railway tracks. We would not stay there again. The checkin staff were pleasant to deal with.

This was my 2nd stay at Acacia and it lived up to expectations. The staff are amazing and were extremely accommodating when I enquired about early check in. The cabins/units are wonderfully appointed and are a credit to the domestic staff. The only downfall is the park is beside the train line and if you are a light sleeper it may be an issue for you.

Small caravan park. Friendly staff, gave help parking caravan and offered advice for things to do and places to eat. Shower block is very dated but really clean. Excellent fenced sites for people with dogs. Noisy with highway and railway right next to it. Must do is lookout. Must eat at The Barkly on Barkly
