White Sands Beach Club Resorts

There is very good for relaxing. Big and clean beach there! Nothing to do other. But that’s the purpose for staying

I was worried about heading to a resort out of season, and on my own but I really did not need to worry. This resort, firstly is spectacular. I should have known I was in for a treat when the taxi drive told me that this was the best beach on the Island. As we turned the corner to the resort the view was breath taking. I had just stunning views everywhere. I was lucky with my room that I was over looking the pool, which overlooks there secluded beach. I don't know if I would have enjoyed my visit as much if I came during the season. There were plenty of people around the resort but every day I walked the beaches alone, as the days went on people would arrive but you could have whole sections to yourself. It was easy to find bars and restaurants open, you could chose from busy or a chilled atmosphere. I preferred to relax in the gorgeous Irish bar which is a two minute walk from White Sands and gets a good mix of tourists and local so the atmosphere is really great. I have been on holidays all over the world and this is one of the most relaxing and had a good mix of activities to take part in. There is a bus service to Mahon but taxi services are reasonable so getting around the Island is easy and there is always the option to hire a care. I just chose to relax and walk a lot which is also an option. Cannot recommend this highly enough. A brilliant location, beautiful apartment and all the staff on the resort are very knowledgeable and cannot help you enough.

We have just returned from a 7 day stay at White Sands. The hotel is great if you’re looking for a relaxing break. The rooms are large, clean and modest. The main positive is it’s closeness to an amazing beach. The pool is great too although it was closed due to a technical fault for three days of our holiday. This didn’t bother us much as it was towards the end of our holiday, but it would be disappointing if you had just arrived. The on-site restaurant is ok/simple but fine for a quick lunch and a drink. The local area has a few good restaurants. Again very modest/no thrills. The best restaurant in the area is Good Bridge, and we also liked La Paella. There’s not a whole load of nightlife in the area but there are a few tourist bars open until late. If you’re looking for something more upmarket get the bus (2 min walk from the hotel) to Fornells, a lovely fishing town about 20 minutes away with amazing restaurants, or Mahon (30 mins away), again with lovely bars and restaurants and a port. It felt a lot less touristy in these areas. All in all, we had a great time and loved the beach and how accessible the hotel to other areas and how clean it was!

Fantastic! It was the first time my husband and I had been abroad with the children since the pandemic and WSBC was even better than we hoped. Immaculate, well equipped apartment. Classy decor throughout, great bathroom and kitchen. Proper duvets on the beds with duvet covers and comfortable squashy pillows. This is a beautiful white walled complex with clouds of hibiscus and a stupendous sea view. The attractive infinity pool area is a peaceful spot to spend the day and just beyond it lies a perfect private beach with easy and safe swimming for all ages. All the staff are smiling, friendly and helpful - from the sweet blond with glasses and red haired waitress with scarlet lipstick in the restaurant to the life guard by the pool - and all the hard working cleaners and maintenance team. Special mention to Veronica and Isabel in Reception - many thanks for making our holiday so special. Lots of steps here and the pool is heated by the sun but we didn’t mind a bit. We will be back!
