In case of late check-in (after midnight), the staff is quite helpless. If it weren't for the elder of our group, the check-in would have been delayed for a long time. There are no basic amenities in the bathroom. This is the first time I have come across such a strange layout. Boxing with breakfast (early check-out) is complete abuse: two croissants and that's it.

The staff are the stars here. This hotel is similar to all others of this type. I generally dont like the corporate type of hotel but the staff here are friendly & helpful. The hotel is not great value, the rooms appear to be smaller than most but I enjoyed my stay here as the staff made me feel very welcome

Good stopping off place if heading off into deepest Europe from Cherbourg- it is about 1 hour 20 mins from harbour with easy access to Autoroute towards Rennes or ring-road heading towards Rouen/Paris. Free parking. Reception was really welcoming- we had arrived at 8.45 and were asked whether or not we wanted something to eat- would have kept restaurant open if we had. Room clean and functional. Bathroom a bit like a bathroom on a ship. Bed comfortable. Breakfast adequate- liked the tarte au pomme however! Gluten-free bread available on request. Free parking. Definitely one of the better Ibis hotels we have stayed when travelling in France.

Very nice modern hotel. Being so near the highway was very good as we had rented a car to drive around the Normandy area. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast spread was good and ample. Would absolutely recommend if you have a car and want to visit Caen, Bayeux, D-Day historical site and the Normandy areas in general.

Great hotel, very friendly staff. Gluten free breakfast optional which is really great. Lots of charging stations nearby, and also a Carrefour Market around the corner. Also great for visiting Caen which is a 10 minute drive away 10/10 would recommend.

The hotel is close to the Caen ring road, the room was comfortable and quiet, and the shower good. There is plenty of parking, which is locked at night. The reception staff were friendly. There is a supermarket close by.

We often stay in an Ibis when we are travelling and have found them to be reliable if unexciting. However, this hotel is exceptional. It has some of the friendliest and most helpful staff we have ever met. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we were recognised and warmly welcomed when we made a return visit. Like all the Ibis group the hotel accepts dogs and ours was fussed over and made very welcome. The adjacent Coutpaille restaurant provides a convenient and pleasant place to eat. The hotel is convenient for travellers as it is sited at the junction of the Rocade Sud and the A84 motorway.

Buona soluzione a Caen. Ampio parcheggio privato gratuito, bella camera (peccato per quel telo plastificato molto scomodo sotto il letto). Buona la connessione. Ottima la colazione, c’è anche un buonissimo ristorante attaccato alla hall. Il bagno è quello tipico IBIS tutto in plastica.
