"We stayed for 5 nights in Dec 2023 and we enjoyed it so much! The room is clean and spacious enough to have 2 large suitcases opened. Loved the design of the bathroom, very practical and well ventilated. The inside of the building is warm at all times. Also lots of facilities to use in the hotel, we tried the sauna, spa, message and played bowling. Definitely going to stay here again when we go skiing in Arinsal"

"Stayed for week in Hotel Montane. Staff friendly. Right beside rental shop and Gondola and in centre of Arinsal which was brilliant. 2adults, 2kids in the family room. Rooms are basic but clean. Food was great every night for the dinner with 3 choices for starters main and desert and different every night . Kids also could have adult meal which was great. More plugs in rooms would be handy for charging phones."

"Nice apartment hotel. 1 km from the town, where there are plenty of dining options. Good, extensive breakfast. Otherwise, a well-maintained hotel. The only downside is that there's no air conditioning in the room, so it was a bit warm to sleep."

"Ideal hotel for a weekend getaway. Very close to Andorra la Vella. Overall, the facilities are very good and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional. Our room had spectacular mountain views."

"Although the Micalou is a 2*, we felt that we received 5* treatment by the staff. Hotel is small but comfortable and ideal for a short stay. Araceli, was fantastic and could not do enough for us during our stay. Highly recommend this location if you need to be in Arinsal."

"Very disappointed with this Hotel, thinking of a 4 star hotel would have and I got only small towels, no complimentary water in the room, no kettle (teas or coffee), Spa not included in the hotel price, no room service or hotel restaurant menu for dinner and the bar opens at 5pm… It felt I stayed in 1 star hotel for these days… I will not be back again"

"This was our first Ski trip, two adults for 5 days. Once checked in, headed upstairs to our room which was pleasant enough. Our room was compact, clean and fairly contemporary which was serviced every day. I read reviews about noise, but honestly there was nothing of any consequence while we were there, we even slept with the window open above a running river without any issue. We were expecting a lot more noise as we were directly over the bar, but .... nothing! Location is outstanding, 1 minute for the gondola and the 'AndBus' dropped and picked us up from right outside. Not to mention, it is directly opposite the Derby Irish Bar! We opted for half board, but be aware the menu is limited but did see they made fresh pizza on site too, although we didn't have any. Also, there is no attention to dietary requirements e,g, Vegan, but sure with some planning/communication before arrival, the staff could/would have arranged something. We also found the staff to be very friendly and had no issue with anyone. Breakfast was the standard european offering of breads, meat and cheese, cereal and pastries. For somewhere to sleep and occasionally grab something to eat, this hotel is excellent! Yes there are better hotels, but for the price it is very worthwhile. Lets face it, when you pay budget prices, you cannot expect Hilton grandeur. We would definitely stay here again as it was perfect for our needs. It only dropped a star for no Vegan option as stanard and the staff know about the kettle :)"

"Nice hotel and spacious rooms. However some oddities- at times the staff not particularly helpful. Our heating wasnt working so we called down and they said wait 10 mins, no joy so we went down and they asked if our window was open, we said no we hadnt opened anything (our first day) and she said well it is then showed us on her screen they can see that- seemed a bizarre interaction, if they knew that they could have just said on the phone and when we went down and explained how to fix rather than asking us and then showing us(?!). it turned out the door wasnt shut tightly for the balcony and that was all it was, quick fix that could have been dealt with politely. Also we werent given our boot room key until we asked, others were given theirs at check in. Lastly I resent paying 30 euros to use the spa for an hour and we didnt even get beds to rest on because it turned out other people were just using it for free and said they had just been walking in whenever. There should have been 6 max and there were 8 and the 2 non payers were using beds. The hotel itself is nice and the rooms are, food decent too. Spa and staff situation disappointing although one of the front of house staff was lovely and so were the bar staff. Girl at breakfast and dinner quite unfriendly. Also quite noisy at night."

"Very well located hotel, very professional and very attentive staff. Excellent open buffet and very varied. The stay was comfortable, the rooms small. They facilitated meal and breakfast times, even long before the times they had to open the dining room for breakfast. Recommendable."
