Hotel Jean Marie

I cannot honestly attribute more than 2 stars to this property. The hotel is located about 300 meters from the sea not far from the shopping streets of Arma di Taggia. The route is quite quiet as it is also small and does not allow for a large night passage. It should be remembered that the structure is part of a network that includes Swiss hotels and arma hotels. Externally, the hotel certainly betrays its age and although (apparently) it has been recently refreshed externally, it fails to infuse the desired effect. There is a small outdoor courtyard area furnished with tables with a very small reception, also here in old age. We stayed in a room on the second floor, I must say certainly of a good size, as then as we discovered it turns out to be used for handicapped people (but I consider this a Plus substantially). The air conditioning is of the mezzanine type, the power of which unfortunately is not sufficient at least to provide cooling in hot moments. Furthermore, as usually happens, it is positioned close to the bed. The interior décor here too is in a classic dated style with bedspreads and curtains that are too out of date. The bathroom as I said and large, has a shower tray covered with a cloth which unfortunately is actually "rotten" in the lower part as shown in the photo. Breakfast is served on the ground floor being able to take advantage of both the outdoor courtyard and the small space at the home entrance. There is a self-service machine for making coffee, and some preparations of packaged and savory desserts, unfortunately not always up to the standard of good taste. I must say, however, that Nutella croissants instead turned out to be Pleasant. Restaurant located in the hotel Svizzera, about 200 m away. Very friendly service very nice staff I must say, however even here do not expect a typical restaurant standard. The menu is varied at times even imaginative, in terms of quality, however, the preparation of the food is more similar to the "canteen" we all know. A range of good quality desserts and fruit is offered for both lunch and dinner. Although the price may be competitive compared to other structures, I would not feel like recommending the structure.

Hotel in a quiet location near the sea and the center. Comfortable and clean rooms. Hearty breakfast (excellent croissants). Convenient underground parking. Excellent welcome for our dog too! Luca and Barbara very kind and helpful! Recommended!

Ho scoperto questo hotel lo scorso anno, in quanto appassionato di bici, volevo fare la ciclabile dei fiori e cercavo un hotel in cui soggiornare. Devo dire che mi sono trovato benissimo: camere pulite e per niente rumorose, bagno funzionale e cordialità sia dello staff che alla reception dove Luca e Barbara sono il vero valore aggiunto. Colazione personalmente per me sufficiente, per quanto riguarda il pranzo/cena esiste una convenzione con un hotel della stessa catena. Distante neanche 5 minuti dal mare, per me, avendo la bici al seguito, una vera comodità è il parcheggio interrato (a pagamento). Consigliatissimo, tant'è che dopo lo scorso anno, ci sono tornato ancora e ci ritornerò sicuramente nei prossimi anni!

Buon albergo ad Arma di Taggia. Palazzina elegante, camere abbastanza ampie, colazione dignitosa, molto gentili gli addetti alla reception e servizio professionale. Parcheggio disponibile con supplemento, ma in zona non è difficile trovarlo. E soprattutto, tariffe umane! Ritorno da prevedere

Hotel in centro ma quieto. Camera e colazione senza troppe pretese. Un po’ disturbate le camere al piano terra perché affacciano sulla recepito/sala colazione/bar dell’hotel. Molto gentile il personale. Per la gentilezza meriterebbe il massimo dei voti.
