We stayed for one night, room was clean and large. We were surprised that the pub did not open until 5.30 so we were unable to get a drink before leaving to go to a family event. We all checked in at 2 the key was in the door of the room. No breakfast as the room does not come with breakfast so checked out and had to go elsewhere.

The room was bright and airy and very clean. Although the re was no-one to welcome us the key was left in the door. The only real negative was the shower. It was very small and a bit of a struggle manoeuvring the door to actually get in it!! However, the location was good for us and also being a pub was handy for food. Overall a pleasant stay.

When I booked the room it was because there was a restaurant I don’t stay anywhere I can’t have a meal. When I got here the restaurant was closed on this day, no where on the site did it say this, I was furious as been driving all day and wouldn’t of stayed here if i had known

We went for Sunday lunch. It was very tasty. Beef was tender and vegetables were perfectly cooked. The cheesecake was definitely homemade and absolutely delicious. Lovely atmosphere in the pub too. The staff were very friendly and we will definitely return.

Excellent Find!
This was a great find at a reasonable price. Stayed in the family/suite room. The room had everything you could want including a detailed book of information for the hotel and local attractions. Food was also good and reasonable. Hotel does not currently offer breakfast. Overall, Fantastic! Would stay again :)
