Stayed as a couple for a long weekend. Great location - 2 minute walk to the ski lift or bus stop to Hornli outside. Virtually ski-in. Inner Arosa is the quieter area of Arosa but more picturesque. Very friendly staff at checkin who handled the collection of ski passes. Great breakfast selection - although speed of service could be improved: took an awfully long time to get coffee some mornings! Excellent spacious room with wonderful views across the valley. Spa and pool complex is fantastic - could nudge the jacuzzi temperature up a couple of notches I think. Overall we would highly recommend the hotel- but note, it’s not cheap - this is Switzerland after all. Closing in April 25 for a 3-4 year complete refurbishment: result should be very impressive. Highly recommend Arosa as a long weekend destination too - and a whole week if you are willing to travel over to Lenzerheim. Excellent snow throughout. I’m sure there is space for a couple more runs if they can get the necessary permissions.

Professional high standard
Only thing that needs to be upgraded is their old internet system

Amazing location, views, service, food and vibe. Rooms a little dated (but very well maintained). Rooms appear to be part of the refurb plan though. The staff couldn’t do enough and were a real stand out. Having four separate restaurants was great and all were very good. Breakfast was great but service a little more chaotic than expected for coffee etc. Offering was very good though. Location was perfect, very easy for train station - hotel arranged collection. Spa treatment was excellent, spa itself lovely. Pool nice but a little cold and jacuzzi could definitely be warmer.

Exceptional place with great staff, food and service! Perfect for skiing! The four restaurants serve a great variety of food and the wellness area is very nice and relaxing. We will return for another stay in December for sure. Thanks for having us!

Having stayed quite a bit in high end hospitality and also worked in a hotel myself, the Arosa Kulm Hotel ticked all the boxes. Its all in the details, and the things below is something I often find lacking in resorts. But not in this place! 1. Serviceminded & helpful staff from check-in to check-out 2. VERY clean rooms! Yes, I am picky there :) Spotless bathroom, where even the toilet roll holder was so shining it could have been a mirror 3. Good lighting for makeup in bathroom 4. Excellent hairdryer, and not those automatic ones that takes forever to dry your hair 5. Shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion that smelled so nice I would have buyed for home if these were for sale in the lobby-shop 6. Lots of hot water in the shower, good pressure and a proper showerhead (compared to old and dribbling ones) 7. The eve prep for the night with a little chocolate, closing curtains and slippers in front of bed has the personal touch that really matters 8 Pool in spa has a pleasant temperature, and water is not overly tossed with chlorine 9. Breakfast that has loads of healthy options 10. Thank you from Norway, I hope to be back soon Martha <3

For 32 years I visit Arosa for skiing in the winter and a few visits during summer. This was our fourth visit to the Arosa Kulm hotel and again we were very much welcomed. Our first Christmas visit in Kulm was in 2018 of course some things have changed in a good ways, but we also see some things disappearing. We always feel very welcomed in the hotel by the staff and Hotel manager. The chefs deliver excellent food service in all restaurants. A big thanks to the chefs, managers and staff from the Taverne, Ahaan Thai. Muntanella with his excellent chef who loves to prepare food with fantastic local products, thanks for the nice conversation. By the word “gala” diner on Christmas eve and Christmas day I personally expect a different experience. These evenings are always a kind of chaos for me then a rather nice dining experience. Guests are asked to get in the restaurant at 7:00pm for the gala but show up in all different times this results a lot of walk inns like a normal evening! Not “gala” as I have experienced in many other hotels. Staff is doing outmost their best. I was more impressed with my normal evening Muntanella then the two “gala’s”! The communication sometimes is unclear. Guest Apero on the 23th of dec would take place in the panorama lounge but moved to kulm lounge. On the 25th the Apero would be served at the table as mentioned in the Christmas program. We asked the waiter and sommelier at the table about the Apero and they told us this was replaced by a guest gathering in the panorama lounge at 6:30 where the Apero was served. We were not aware and no communication, pity we wanted to say goodbye to some guest, we were very disappointed. The Bar tenders in the lounge were friendly, attentive and quick service, always open for a nice chat, a smile and laugh. The spa is beautiful, we like kids and don’t have problems with them. We wanted to swim around noon but there were about 7 kids splashing in the pool, while the mums were busy with their phones and making insta pics. We thought the kids hours for splashing was clear communicated. The two concierges who both work for many years at Kulm are so experienced, a big thanks for helping us with the car issues. Also a thanks for the guys collecting the luggage. Front office, a disappointment about our booking, we wanted to stay a night longer but during booking no rooms available, during the online check-in we noticed rooms were available for extra night? no interaction on our mail. Instead we received an upgrade but we would had preferred a longer stay in the original booked (south side) room. On the Question would I recommend the hotel! Yes certainly for families with kids, everything can and is possible for families. The hotel is focused on families and what I would say “instagram influencers” who are visible on their social media, but a pity they don’t follow their regular guest who are the majority of visitors. Thanks for a wonderful stay Good luck for the future Jan & Wil

This hotel is exquisite. Very nice team, amazing food and a warm ambiance. Only complaint is that they allow their staff to work sick. Housekeeping came into my room coughing all over everything in the room including my pillows, bedding and on the towels she replaced. I could smell her cough in the room after she left. I had to open the windows to let fresh air in and hoped that she didn't infect me. Later I sat at the bar and the bar service was also coughing everywhere he went. Even the day after and on the food and drinks he was serving to the guests. The others working with him seemed also congested. Hotel management should not let their staff come to work sick or coughing. Otherwise they risk infecting their other staff members and their hotel guests.

I spent a great pre-Christmas weekend at the Arosa Kulm Hotel enjoying perfect weather in Arosa, delicious food, spa, views. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here! One of my favorite places in Switzerland.

Its been two weeks that we left and we already miss the place. Kulm Arosa is that kind of place that once you enter the door you immediately feel at home. The staff are friendly and professional starting from the doorman to the General Manager. They have very good food in all of their restaurants without forgetting Thai Restaurant which became our favorite (not classical Thai street food that you see everywhere but real high end Thai Cuisine). What really impressed us was fact that even with all the restrictions during this pandemic they manage to give you an impeccable service. Big compliment on that. Rich breakfast buffet, coffee or tea after ski in front of a fireplace in the lobby, Swimming and sauna after ski, Billiard, bowling, Table tennis…. What else would you like in your winter holiday. Keep up your good work guys, we will definitely come again. Bunjaku Family
