Beautiful hotel with outstanding service and facilities. Friendly staff, historical and magnificient building, great breakfast, breathtaking gardens and heated outdoor swimming pool. Plenty of activities for the all family. We cannot wait to go back again.

I was truly looking forward to this visit, especially knowing the restaurant is part of a beautifully restored monastery turned 5-star hotel. The setting is remarkable, full of history and grandeur—but sadly, the dining experience was the exact opposite. The decor feels oddly out of place: dark tables, red chairs, no tablecloths, no elegance—more IKEA than heritage. It completely lacks charm or atmosphere, a missed opportunity to match the soul of the building. The menu left me baffled. Ceviche and carpaccio in the heart of rural Portugal, in a place known for its rich, traditional cuisine? It felt tone-deaf. The food itself was far from memorable. My Bife de Alvarenga was based on good-quality meat, but ruined by a pre-made, tasteless sauce that overwhelmed everything. Service was poor, though I understand the restaurant have just opened. Still, that doesn't excuse the overall lack of hospitality or training we experienced. It’s a heartbreaking contrast—such a majestic setting with so little care or passion in the food and service. I hope they find their footing soon, because right now, it’s just a sad echo of what it could be.

Uma hotel deslumbrante! Instalações fantásticas com quartos decorados ao pormenor e extremamente confortáveis. Com pequenos pormenores de grande qualidade e sofisticação. No ambiente de um antigo Mosteiro encontra-se um verdadeiro hotel 5 estrelas. Spa e ginásio de excelência! Jardins deslumbrantes! Possui ainda uma apetecível piscina exterior e um campo de padel. A localização é excelente para quem pretende conhecer a bonita vila de Arouca, fazer os famosos passadiços e passar a fantástica Ponte Suspensa - 516 Arouca . O staff é extremamente simpático, atencioso e sempre disponível! Espero voltar em breve!

Hotel perfeito. Localizado no centro de Arouca, é um Hotel novo, com uma excelente recuperação arquitectónica. Quartos muito confortáveis, funcionários extremamente simpáticos e atenciosos, e áreas de lazer de topo. As piscinas são maravilhosas (tanto a interior como a exterior) o restaurante do Hotel é ótimo. Mas para quem quiser conhecer Arouca, tem excelentes opções de restauração a poucos passos. Aconselho

Un hotel precioso en Arouca. El desayuno, exquisito, con productos de calidad y muy buena presentación. La limpieza, impecable. Las instalaciones están muy bien cuidadas. La piscina es tranquila y los jardines son ideales para pasear con calma. El hotel ocupa un antiguo monasterio restaurado con muchísimo gusto. Todo está en perfecto estado y los claustros son realmente bonitos. La atención del personal fue de 10, desde el primer momento hasta que nos marchamos. Sin duda, repetiré.

Cet hôtel n'est pas juste un lieu de séjour, c'est une destination en soi. Le site est tout simplement exceptionnel et l'établissement en tire le meilleur parti. À l'intérieur, la promesse est tenue : la chambre était d'une qualité irréprochable, avec une literie si parfaite qu'elle redéfinit le mot "repos". Le jardin, époustouflant, est une véritable oasis de tranquillité. Chaque service est exécuté avec une précision rare. Le petit déjeuner est un festival de produits frais et variés. L'espace piscine est... wow. Un décor spectaculaire et une atmosphère incroyable. Le bar de l'hôtel sert des cocktails dignes des meilleurs spécialistes, et le restaurant juste à côté est la touche finale, complétant une offre déjà parfaite. En un mot : magique. Une adresse qui ne fait aucun compromis sur l'excellence.

Positivo: Soluções arquitectónicas bem conseguidas, nota bem alta no aproveitamento dos espaços e nos resultados obtidos. Quartos bem decorados, almofadas e cama de grande conforto, cofres e televisões planas de grande ecrã com comando fácil. Casas de banho diferentes umas das outras, soluções agradáveis a proporcionar bons banhos com ótima pressão da água. Jardins e áreas comuns bem cuidadas. Apesar de se sentir ainda uma certa insegurança, notou-se muita simpatia e prestabilidade em todo o pessoal, destacando-se o responsável do bar. Negativo: O ar condicionado não refrescava o quarto 107, o que nos obrigou a mudar a altas horas com armas e bagagens para o 117, assunto resolvido. Duche turco com temperatura insuficiente. Piscina interior pequena para dias de maior procura. Necessidade de melhoria da oferta dos pequenos-almoços, relativamente pobre e com faltas para quem procura produtos biológicos com pouco ou nenhum açúcar, pães de centeio, croissants crocantes de qualidade. Falta de sinalética nas ruas próximas do hotel, a dificultar a aproximação. Um pequeno hotel com apenas dois meses ainda dentro das dificuldades de arranque, mas com grande potencial a prever um grande futuro!
