Casual comfort Very helpful and friendly staff who will go out of their way to guide you. Relaxing lounge, good location and comfortable bed.

Not for me The good points were the daily cleaning and bed-making service was good and I liked the cube storage. Also, reception gave us good recommendations for excellent French food. However, the first room we were assigned had not been cleaned and we found glass on the floor of the second room. The bathroom 'tiles' needed cleaning of the pretend grouting. We could not get an evening meal in the restaurant as it was only for a pre-booked group. There was no bottled water or kettle in the room. The mattresses are foam and killed my back. My first experience of an Ibis and not one I wish to repeat - I hate to think what the Budget Ibis is like.

Very well organised

Very good value for the money. The receptionist was extremely helpful and showed us a secure spot for our van under video surveillance. There was quite a strong odour from the hallway carpets, but the room, though small, was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent, just a few minutes walk into centre ville. I would stay here again if in Le Puy.
