Excellent venue! Location in a nice little town in the mountains, beautifully renovated historical building, cosy place as there are a limited number of suites, the suites are of excellent comfort and well maintained and they fully deliver what the description and the pictures promise, finally a sympathetic and efficient manager who makes sure everything runs smoothly.

This is a beautiful place. Our "room" was a huge suite, beautiful and comfortable. The people are very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts are excellent. And the pool is a great relaxer. And the location! It's right in the middle of the loveliest part of Argyroupoli, yet is completely quiet at night.

The quality of the restoration of this magnificent old house and the beauty of the well maintained garden seduced us during our stay in April 2022. The place is very calm and relaxing. The presence of lemon trees allowed us to make our own juice in the morning. The house is ideally located in the small village of Argiroupolis, in the center of Western Crete, which allows you to explore the surroundings in all directions. The beautiful little town of Rethymon, on the north coast, is 30 minutes away and Plakias, on the south coast, is 35 minutes away. Chania is also only 55 minutes away. The only things that for us were not up to the standard of what one would expect from a "luxury suite" were the lack of servery equipment, the very limited bath amenities, the comfort of the bedding and the messiness, outside, near the suite. This was not catastrophic and can easily be improved. We thank our host, Yiannis Deligiannakis, for his thoughtfulness and availability.

I highly recommend it, it was all perfect! The hotel is even more beautiful than the photos and takes you to another era, atmospheric that combines tradition and history with comfort and luxury! of course to enjoy the excellent breakfast with local fresh products !!!!!!

This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs). We had our own private patio and a back door that led right to the pool. The town and the people who live there are all so great! Everything is within walking distance and is totally safe. If you're looking for a hotel that gives you that real Greek life feeling, this is your place! Arcus Suites is a hidden gem for sure... We WILL be back!

Yanis was a very friendly host who welcomed us with lots of information and suggested walks around the local area. The apartment was spacious and well equipped with stunning views in a mountainous location. There was a slight musty smell, and I feel ithe apartment would have benefited from more ventilation prior to our arrival. There was a comfortable, large king size bed, although we felt the bedding was quite dated. The terrace, where we were served a delicious Cretian breakfast, overlooked the beautiful swimming pool. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Arcus Suites and would recommend this rustic hill top location.

We had a lovely relaxing stay in Arcus suites The accommodation was very cosy and comfortable with a spectacular view from our room Our room had Netflix and a computer for our use which was a nice touch The host was incredible heloful and kind during our stay and was always contactable
