Ashikaga Town Hotel

The hotel is old and shows its age, but it's by far the cheapest among hotels near Ashikaga Station, which is why I always stay here. It's perfectly adequate if you just need a place to sleep for a business trip.

I stayed at this hotel for one night during the wisteria festival. The hotel was very quiet. The staff was very friendly. There's an onsen on site, which is very convenient. Thank you, hotel staff! Sincerely, Natalia. Moscow

Within walking distance of JR Ashikaga Station. The front desk staff were courteous and welcoming as we made our way to our room. While the building is old, it was reasonably clean. There were no issues with the room. There are restaurants nearby, and a supermarket is nearby. For the price, it's no exaggeration to say we were very satisfied.

It's ideal as a place to stay because it's close to the site, has bathing facilities, and offers affordable accommodation. However, the building and facilities are old, which is unavoidable. I'm using it with that in mind.

I stayed here for a baseball tournament. Unusually for a business hotel, there was a large public bath on the 6th floor, which was very relaxing. Meals weren't included, but there were several supermarkets and restaurants nearby, which was very convenient.

The lobby and common areas were fine, but the room had peeling wallpaper and smelled musty. I suppose it might be tolerable if you just need a place to sleep, but I wouldn't recommend it.
