Flat case for Hotel Montage...
A basically very nice hotel, which is nicely located and looks cosy. However, after a while you realize that the renovation has gone a bit too fast, and that most of the material choices do not meet hotel standards, but rather what you use for home use. When the paint is already coming off the walls and cannot withstand daily cleaning, one wonders if it is really intended to last for a longer period in a hotel environment? The feeling of poorly executed building renovation appears quite quickly. Not even being greeted when you arrive as a guest feels unusually sad. No commi**ent at all from the staff, unfortunately. However, it is the breakfast that puts the nail in the coffin... We have never experienced a worse hotel breakfast! Despite the fact that it is a small hotel with quite a few guests, we are offered a breakfast that we didn't think was possible to serve in such a high-class accommodation. A kind of bread, and a kind of yogurt... some boiled eggs and a dry cheese?! Some stale ham that looked days old. The coffee was out, and there was nothing more than milk for the coffee. Total disaster! Completely disengaged staff who seemed to think it was difficult with breakfast guests. We didn't understand anything! We have more on our breakfast table on a regular Tuesday morning before work and school! How is it possible to run hotels with the extremely low level?
Then it would have been nice to have a hot spa bath or a sauna down by the lake. High price, poor resources.
