Location is perfect but facilities is old

This is our 2nd stay at Electra Palace Hotel in Athens. Our experience, just like the first time, was not disappointing. All the staff at the hotel are extremely professional, and they didn't disappoint with the high quality of service rendered. We were particularly impressed at the check-in, which was done in less than 1 min. They just pulled up our details on their files, gave us the check-in paper to sign, and away we went to our room. We asked for the same room 324 that we stayed on our first visit, and they happily obliged us. I love the fact that the hotel pays attention to every little request from its customers. Thank you so much to everyone at Electra Palace, we will see you again in 2025 by God's Grace!🙏🏿

Highlights: beautiful views of acropolis and surrounding area from rooftop bar/restaurant space (also where breakfast served), buffet of good standard and restaurant staff very polite and a credit to the hotel. Improvements: reception staff generally very helpful but one particular staff member was not forthcoming with information/recommendations for restaurants/ details regarding late check out - we were always referred to come back later/following day to reception to ask someone else; when same questions asked later to a different member of staff, they were more than happy to help with all enquiries. Room: no ‘do not disturb’ sign available, housekeeping knocked on room at 9am every day, which woke us up; also housekeeping entering room after knocking on door without waiting for guests to respond; need some adjustments to respect privacy or guests; hotel corridors are very stuffy even in winter time Overall: a very pleasant stay

Not matching the rating here. Positives + Location: close to syntagma square (i.e., airport metro line) and within walking distance to acropolis + Breakfast: classic western all-day breakfast buffet, on the roof top with great views of the acropolis Negatives - Cleanliness: human hairs on bed sheets - Room amenities: very old and out of maintenance (e.g., bath faucet not functioning well; metal cover on the switch falls off easily) - Service: except for the concierge staff, attitude is cold otherwise (including breakfast and other interactions) - Noise: loud music with strong base rhythms outside the window until late night (11pm)

The facilities and services were good, but I booked two days first, and then my wife booked two more days in the same type of room. When we went to the front desk at 9 a.m. to extend our stay, the staff said we couldn't stay in the same room. I really don't understand. New guests can only check in at 3 p.m. Does this mean guests can choose their room number when booking?

A very satisfying experience. You can see the entire Acropolis from the balcony, the hotel breakfast is also very rich and delicious, and the various disposable utensils in the room are very complete

Excellent location, attentive service, worth coming again!

I booked a single room. There was nothing wrong with the room except that it was small. The rooftop restaurant was great. It was the best choice for taking photos of the Acropolis. The hotel is very close to the Acropolis. It is also very convenient for eating and shopping. Remember to carry your bag in front when you go out.

The breakfast restaurant on the top floor of the hotel has a beautiful view of the Acropolis, and the waiters are warm and thoughtful. The breakfast is rich and it is different every day during the three days of stay. The hotel facilities are a bit old. The location is excellent, not far from Constitution Square, the Acropolis and the shopping street.

Must say: a great choice! Charming Breeze made our trip to Santorini perfect. The hotel is in the quiet town of Oia. The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast is excellent. We had breakfast on the balcony facing the Aegean Sea. It was beautiful! The bed was also very comfortable. It was the most comfortable place to sleep after being out for so long. The staff was also very friendly. The person in charge was even more enthusiastic and friendly. He responded to everything. When we arrived, he waited for us on the roadside to help with the luggage. He was very thoughtful. Because we Chinese cannot download Whats up😱😓, we can only contact by email, but the person in charge responded very quickly. He was still replying to our emails late at night. I felt the sincere and responsible service attitude. This hotel is really very cost-effective and highly recommended! The balcony of the family suite is great

The room is clean and tidy, the sanitation is very good, and the pillowcases are changed every day. The InterContinental in Athens where I stayed last year left me with a very bad impression. The facilities of the InterContinental are equivalent to those of three-star hotels in China, and the service is not good, so I was still nervous when booking this hotel. I didn't expect the waiter to be kind and enthusiastic. The room is clean and tidy, especially when you have breakfast in the restaurant on the 8th floor, you can see the Acropolis, which is very amazing. The location is also good, and it is very close to Constitution Square and the Acropolis. The only drawback is that the room is not soundproof, and the noise of cars and motorcycles downstairs is very loud before 12 o'clock in the evening! But overall it is very good, I will choose to stay here next time I come to Athens

The hotel staff are very friendly. Our request for late check-out on a night flight was readily accommodated by the hotel. The breakfast restaurant has a stunning view of Athens and Weicheng. We spent breakfast and dinner in this restaurant every day. The quality of the food exceeded our expectations. We looked forward to it. Stay again next time

The front desk was very welcoming. We could store our luggage during our three-day trip to Santorini. The service staff were very nice!
