Hotels in Dafni, Athens

Great place to stay while in Athens. Only a short walk to the metro and only and only a few stops to the Acropolis and the city. The apartment is super modern and clean with all the amenities you’d expect. 10/10 would stay here again.

Arrived late at night, Marriott Platinum members did not get a room upgrade (the platform still has room upgrades available). Is the room outside the hotel corridor? There is a startup sound every few minutes, like a bus starting and shutting down. Avoid room 405. The daytime waiters are still warm and polite.

The hotel room is not big, but the location is very convenient for travel. When you go out from the left-hand corner and turn right, you will find the subway station. There are also several restaurants, which are quite lively. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the old site of the University of Athens and 20 minutes to the Syntagma Square.

Very close to the subway station, there is a restaurant supermarket downstairs, the hotel lobby is on the first floor, although there are stairs, but the receptionist will take the initiative to help carry the luggage. The room is a few large and everything is normal. There is a 24-hour counter and luggage storage. The day before leaving, I met a very good counter uncle to help deal with the wrong payment of the Greek restaurant credit card. The service was awesome! !

The hotel is located in a nice place. All the major attractions are 1 - 3 metro stops away, which hardly takes 10-15 mins from the gate of the hotel to the gate of the attraction. The staff is really nice, the person who was doing morning shift on 22nd gave me an early checkin, very kind of him. The lady in the night shift, I think her name is Lana, she is also very helpful. Caffe and restaurant near the hotel are nice, multiple options are there. Now coming to the condition of the hotel - it’s not up to the basic standards. The rooms are very very old, the bathroom is in a pathetic condition ie old fittings, old marble (worst ). The building is in a mess. It looks like the hotel is not renovated since the time it was built. The lifts are scary. The lights in the room are dull. It’s better to book a hostel than this hotel in the same price point. There is a smell of chemicals on the Hotel floors. The hotels next to this hotel are way way better, there are 3 4 of them in the same lane. PS - incase you want to use the aircon they’re gonna charge you 5 euros per day , though I really doubt that the aircon will work, but still. The heater in the room was also not working. In the night you don’t get hot water, it will only come in the morning.

Nice hotel in a very good location. All attractions are within walking distance. Omonia metro station is also only 3-5 minutes away. Nice little breakfast buffet with a good selection. Freshly squeezed orange juice and hot drinks to choose from
