Stonehurst Place Bed & Breakfast

Stonehurst is exactly as the reviews say - a lovely, well-thought-out haven in Atlanta. I really enjoyed learning the history of the building and just staying in my perfectly appointed Eaves room. Breakfast and coffee were amazing. I can’t wait to return for a longer stay. Great location.

The accommodations are beautiful and the vibe is warm and professional. It’s a great midtown location that’s walkable to the botanical gardens, the Beltline, Piedmont Park, Ponce City market, the High museum and a countless number of restaurants.

Elegant and comfortable is the perfect way to describe this charming B+B. Jason is a friendly and talented host and chef. Everything was perfect, easy and fun. The location is excellent for exploring all Atlanta has to offer. We were able to get bikes delivered right there and spent a day biking the Beltline, MLK Jr. National Historic Park, and the Jimmy Carter Library and Mueum. Stonehurst was lovely to come home to.

Our daughter and her fiancé chose Stonehurst Place for their small, intimate wedding. It is a historic home located in Midtown. The owners, Chris and Jason, were wonderful to work with and provided many helpful suggestions. Our immediate family stayed at Stonehurst which provided extra time to be together. I can only describe Stonehurst with one word- luxury. From the bedding to the robes to the snacks and treats provided throughout, Chris and Jason thought of everything! And the breakfast- just so special. We ate as a family each morning and the food and service was excellent. I just cannot recommend Stonehurst Place enough.

We already cannot wait to visit Stonehurst Place again. Our stay was phenomenal! Before we even arrived, we got text updates and a helpful guide for checking in, parking directions, and even local restaurants. With the guide, driving and parking was a breeze. Jason greeted us and gave us a tour—if you have time, definitely ask him about the history of Stonehurst! He is amazing! We were immediately in love with the house; it is wonderfully preserved, beautifully decorated, and truly incredible. Each room is unique, and has its own charm. I especially loved the music room and the sleeping porch upstairs. You can tell Jason and Kris adore the house and take excellent care of the entire property! They truly value the guests’ experience, and everything from the kind hospitality to the complimentary snacks in the dining room to the coffee and tea nooks is dedicated to ensuring your stay is the best it can be. We only got to stay one night this time, but we never wanted to leave. We stayed in The Eaves upstairs. Just like the common areas, our room was perfectly clean and stocked with everything we needed. It was comfortable, cozy, and the perfect getaway on our road trip. There was even a brownie waiting for us when we checked in! The bed was amazing—the bedding was soft and clean, and we had a wonderful night’s sleep. The bathroom was spotless, and we even had a towel warmer next to the amazing shower (Jason’s favorite in the place!). We got a lovely view of the city lit up at night, and we were pleasantly surprised at how little noise came through to our room, both from other rooms in the house and from outside. It was so convenient to fill out our selections for breakfast, and Jason made and brought out everything exactly as we chose—and it was delicious! We would love to stay at Stonehurst Place again, and for longer next time, to enjoy more of the house. We really can’t thank Jason enough for making our experience comfortable, relaxing, and delightful. Thank you so much for everything!

This was a place we wish we had found on our previous trips. It was quiet, refreshing, and a great location. Our hosts showed that needed balance of welcoming without being "too present". Our morning breakfasts were fresh and accommodating our personal preferences. Will look forward to coming back.
