The room has holes in the carpet, and the lamp shades are torn. The iron board was broken, and I almost cut myself. The staff provided us with a new iron and an ironing board. Once I went downstairs to complain, I had to call a second time using my personal cell phone due to the hotel room phone not working. I was told that the telephone company would have to resolve that issue. Return around 1am to go to sleep and there was a young lady yelling asking the person to let her in the room which went on from 1am to 2:30 am. I paid over $300 for a night and received a horrible room didn't feel comfortable taking a shower just got up and left at 10am an hour before check out so I can go back to Brooklyn (home) to shower and sleep

Hotel was rundown and in need of repair. We stayed for 3 days for my daughter’s basketball tournament. Disappointed 😔 once we arrived. Room felt damp even with the air conditioning on. Mold on curtains and bathroom ceiling. Outside of hotel needs power washing and cleaning. The lock on the door questionable. You had to really push it to make sure closed. The light in the room would not turn off you had to unplug from the wall. The refrigerator made noise throughout the night. The clock also made strange sounds. Bathroom tile needs to be redone. One bar of soap. No shampoo or conditioner. The bottom of the pool had sand. Never vacuumed in 3 days. The breakfast area was very clean and the woman there did a great job. Breakfast was mediocre. Same all three days. Waffles, these egg discs and sausage. The housekeeper was very nice and attentive. The front desk was Not friendly or helpful. When we complained about the room they could care less. Best thing about the hotel was its Location. Down the block from the boardwalk and the beach and also close to the Tropicana. I definitely would never stay there again. Shame on the choice hotel brand. That hotel needs serious renovations. Room 308
