Avid Hotel Auburn - University Area Reviews

Hotel seems brand new. Beds and pillows comfortable. Shower and elevators oddly not that clean but everywhere else spotless. The whole coffee/ beverage area was out of service which was a pain at breakfast. We also forgot toothpaste and I was surprised they couldn’t help us. Had to find a cvs. I would definitely try an avid hotel again based on this though.

Very clean, modern, new, and very friendly staff! Would highly recommend staying here! My 2 nights were wonderful!

For a no frills budget hotel it’s not bad. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. My only complaint is the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors conversations. We also had someone in our hall smoking that we could smell from time to time in our room.

The room was fine. Male desk clerk needs to be more friendly and inviting. The employees do not seem to care about their job or their customers.

The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. Miguel, the new manager is really wonderful. He was very accommodating and seems to have the hotel in tip top shape. I had read reviews saying the rooms and bathrooms were dirty which concerned me but it was quite the opposite during my visit. I would highly recommend this hotel.

New property Comfy beds House keeping knocked on door both days @ 8am. Tried to come in. Also received a phone call about a noise complaint and we were asleep….. other than that it was a great property. Very clean & new

I booked for a five night stay. Bed never made once. No bathroom clean up. Just got towels on floor and left a shower floor towel. Toilet rocked when sitting down and standing up to the point I thought the porcelain would crack. Extremely small room. Very disappointing. Watered down orange and apple juice at breakfast bar. Tasteless microwaved breakfast sandwiches. Typically I stay at 3-4 star hotels. Paying over $100 per night, I expected a little more.

Staff is friendly, check in was quick & efficient and rooms are clean, updated & comfy
