We stayed for a concert, the location was great. The desk closed at midnight, the concert ended after that. When we returned we discovered there was no remote control for the tv and the ac was off. The ac turned off several times during the night and as there was no one at the desk , nothing could be resolved until the morning. Overall, it is a clean, well situated hotel.

Encountered some difficulties during check-in. The receptionist claimed that Trip.com did not make payment to the hotel and requested me to leave credit details to make the payment. Eventually, the receptionist managed to reach Trip.com CS and just requested me to register credit card details and pay NZD150 deposit which is already exceeded the room price. I am quite disappointed that in the page of reservation, it did not mentioned any deposit is required statement.

location is super good. i always book this for my colleagues travelling to Auckland because this is so close to our office. their service is very prompt, often when you send email to them they will reply you very quickly. new and clean. our usual business trip hotel.

Nice and clean room, just a bit small. Convenient to train station. Ellerslie town is a bit small. Good to have transport to find better eats. Enjoyed our 4 nights stay
