The Chancellor on Hobson

I loved staying with Chancellor on Hobson. The customer service was top tier, and the location was perfect. Is was in the city so it was quite convenient, the wharf is 10 minutes walking distance away, and the sky tower is about 5 minutes walking distance. I had an amazing time with my partner and the staff were lovely! The pool, spa and sauna and gym were lovely!

A terrible place to stay. Looks nothing like photos. Shower leaks onto floor. Mouldy dirty and laundry area is full of mould. This place is the worst place I’ve stayed in. Building manager is rude and arrogant. Not worth $50

The lovely receptionist made our stay great as we got there early due to I our cruise. She changed our room as the first one was very claustrophobic for me as I suffer from that so I always check for large windows. The porter was very helpful on our arrival day. Unfortunately I can’t remember their names. I think both of them should get a raise. The receptionist was celebrating her wedding anniversary soon and was going to be off. We were there for 4 nights. Booked parking as well which we had to pay for $40 per day. There was another guide checking in who got it free with her booking. Not sure why we didn’t. She said we could use that as she didn’t have a car. But we’re told we couldn’t do that either. Not sure why not. On day of checkout we asked if we good leave the car for a bother 4 hours till we return the car but we’re told no as carpark is full. We’ve been in and out and it was hardly used. So many spare bays all the time. We then told we can park but have to pay. Other places let us stay till we left to catch our flights.
