Located right in Auckland CBD, the hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 10-minute walk from Sky Tower. The room size is decent. A nice touch is the water dispenser on each floor next to the elevator – it's motion-sensor activated; just place your cup or the hotel's glass bottle underneath and it dispenses water automatically. Breakfast is just okay; the variety and quality are typical of a budget hotel, nothing to write home about.

The hotel has an excellent location, just a 5-minute walk to the wharf and about a 7-minute walk to the SkyBus airport shuttle terminal. The front desk staff were warm and friendly, and they gave us a high-floor room on the 37th floor with a direct view of the Sky Tower. We also received two large bottles of water upon check-in. The breakfast was one of the best we've had in New Zealand hotels; although the variety wasn't extensive, everything was delicious, and the fruits were very sweet. Great value for money, highly recommend staying here.

Stayed on the 37th floor with a great view. The room was clean and tidy, and housekeeping was provided daily. They offered one bottle of sparkling water and one bottle of still water. The location is excellent, very close to Queen Street and the Sky Tower.

Location-wise, it's about 400 meters from the Sky Tower. Turn left out of the hotel and it's a short walk to Queen Street; keep going left to the end, and you'll reach the ferry terminal. Both Green and Red supermarkets are nearby, so the location is very convenient. The room offers views of the bay and the Sky Tower, and it was clean. The staff were all incredibly friendly. They took care of small details without even being asked, which was really heartwarming. Breakfast was typical InterContinental style. The restaurant isn't huge, but you generally don't have to queue. The front desk area is quite small. Overall, I'd recommend it.

I used to always stay at Crowne Plaza, but after seeing so many recommendations for VOCO Hotel on Xiaohongshu, I decided to splurge and try it out for a night. To my surprise, the experience was fantastic! While the lobby isn't as grand or luxurious as Crowne Plaza's, they genuinely offer cookies and a soft drink – I don't know what it's called, but it was absolutely delicious. The room facilities are very new, and the mattress is firm and supportive, leading to a great night's sleep. The breakfast, in particular, was abundant and incredibly tasty – truly exceptional! ❤️ The New Zealand mushrooms were so fresh and delicious, better than any I've had back home, and the smoked salmon was amazing. The croissants weren't too sweet or greasy; I could easily eat several. The peanut butter tasted authentically like my childhood. There were several types of salami, and a wide variety of fruits... VOCO Hotel also has a sky bar with sea views, so it's definitely worth experiencing.
