The Holiday Inn Express is centrally located, close to the bustling wharf area, making it convenient for dining, visiting parks, and art galleries. Given Auckland is a major city, the hotel's pricing is quite reasonable, and it includes a substantial breakfast with items like hash browns, bacon, and eggs, offering great value for money overall. However, there was one instance during our stay where our room wasn't cleaned, which is an area for improvement, as coming back to an uncleaned room after a long day isn't pleasant.

Service: It was just okay. The staff gave standard fake smiles. I managed to extend my check-out time by an hour, even though they seemed reluctant, they eventually agreed. If I come back next time, I'd consider the Indigo nearby; the price difference isn't that much.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the location is very good, & the cleanliness as well, we love their food too, if you don’t stay for long days, for they’re serving same variety of food everyday, over all rating is 8 out of 10, we are still happy & thankful for staying at this Hotel. ❤️🥰

They allowed me to extend my checkout time up to 2pm without extra charge. The room is very neat with daily room housekeeping service. Breakfast buffet was quite good with breads, bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes, fruits, coffee, tea and juice.

The location is fantastic, right off Queen Street in the heart of the city, making it convenient to get everywhere. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. I booked a high-floor sea-view room, and although the room wasn't huge, it was definitely worth it. The front desk had a Chinese-speaking receptionist who, after I explained my booking mistake, even upgraded my room for free. The room rate included breakfast, which offered great value for money and a wide variety of options. Choosing this hotel for my stay in Auckland was a good decision.
