Good location which just 5 minutes walk to the wharf & train station. Chemist is just opposite & supermarket is located at next street. We walked approx. 6-7 mins to Skytower which is the landmark of Auckland Central. The hotel fee is included breakfast & we usually have a quick meal to start our journey.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Auckland City Centre for one night during my solo travels, and I couldn’t have been happier with my choice.
The location is absolutely fantastic—right in the heart of Auckland, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. Many attractions, restaurants, and shops are just a short walk away, which saved me a lot of time and effort.
What stood out most, however, was the excellent staff. They were not only friendly and professional but went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. Whether it was check-in, providing local recommendations, or assisting with my queries, they were always helpful and approachable.
The room itself was clean, modern, and well-equipped, offering everything I needed for a comfortable night’s stay. The bed was cozy, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to relax after a day of exploring.
For solo travelers like myself, I highly recommend this hotel for its prime location, attentive staff, and excellent value for money. I’ll definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Auckland!
