As a lot of the other reviews say, this is a very well equipped and pleasant choice for a village resort stay, especially if you are a plant, tree, lizard or cat fan, as there are plenty of them. There are some incredible natural features to admire such as massive cactus trees and jasmine vines; the staff are absolutely lovely, the pool is fantastic, and the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. We opted for half board so didn’t need to do a lot of cooking, but if you did choose self catering I could see how you may struggle a little after a while as there are just two hobs and a microwave. Cocktails: delicious and reasonably priced, (6.50)and then even more reasonably priced during the daily happy hour (3.50) though be aware they pare the options down a little for this. Poseidon Bar: very nice lunches, plenty of options. Buffet: breakfast was good, we were only staying a few days so may get repetitive for longer visits ( as other reviews mention). Half board gives you the option to choose between lunch or dinner and we went for dinner the first night, which was billed as ‘International’, and may be fine for meat eaters, but it would be really good to include more vegetarian/vegan options, salad, vegetables and pasta were available but there was no protein for non meat eaters available at all and overall quite disappointing. We had lunch the next day and this was much better, especially as we didn’t realise we could eat in the bar instead of the buffet (it had all been cleared away by 2pm which temporarily alarmed us as lunch is supposed to run until 2.30). One other thing to mention is that over the whole weekend music plays in both of these areas constantly, loudly, and depending on your tastes, ranges from fun to from mildly annoying to intolerable. Speakers are pointed inward so this wasn’t a problem in the rooms but brace yourself and maybe pack some earplugs just in case. Very much recommend the Medieval Festival in Agia Napa for traditional entertainment in October, market stalls, music and dancing, and free wine and coffee!
