Excellent location just a short walk from local beaches. Friendly and very helpful staff. Supermarket and several small restaurants nearby. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Ribeira Grande.

Loved everything about this hotel. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Very clean and wonderful food, especially the breakfast. The dinner menu was also very good but could use a little more variety

New constructed hotel with modern decorations. Nice seaview from the restaurant and good quality of service. Large and well heated indoor swimming pool.

Facilities: While a bit lacking for a five-star hotel, it's still quite good on the island. The good news is that the room rate includes free spa access. The bad news is that it's quite small, with just two massage points and two small saunas: one dry and one wet. If the hotel name didn't include "spa," it would be a pleasant surprise, but for a spa hotel, it's a bit overrated.
The window in our room had a crack running from top to bottom. The hotel sent an apology letter and offered complimentary wine. I assumed it was a sudden, emergency fix, as the rooms were full and there were no extra rooms available, which I thought was quite sincere. However, after reading other guests' reviews from six months ago, I realized the window had been broken long before. I'm speechless. Why didn't they fix it so long?
Service: The staff were excellent, and the quality was expected of a five-star hotel.
