Our view from the balcony was the best, showing a view over Baceno up to the mountain range. The decor is quite modern . I loved the interesting looking basin and large sliding mirrored door to the bathroom. The shower is not your usual with water coming from above only but can be adjusted to target only your front for example.Very comfortable room to relax especially after you had a long hike in the mountains. I loved the different textures in the room from the bedding the wallpapers, the scatter pillows. The lighting is great on the eyes. Then the terrace outside is just the best to enjoy your drinks and food while enjoying the great views Baceno has to offer. The best mouthwatering pastries can also be found here as we witnessed a neverending number of people popping in for their afternoon treats. One night stay is too short as there are numerous breathtaking must do hikes in the area. We were fortunate to have a very knowledgeable person take us on an excursion to the magnificent church which is just a stone throw away from the hotel. What an experience!!

I visited in July with my partner. We both love the outdoors and this place made for a good base camp. The location is stunning and we had beautiful views of the Alps from the terrace and also our room which was comfortable and super chic. The bathrooms especially are beautifully done. The breakfast buffet options were a bit sweet for my liking but the restaurant service did not disappoint and everything was made with fresh, local ingredients. Hands down my favourite part of the trip. The staff were friendly and on the day we couldn't climb due to rain, the blonde lady went out of her way to give us a quick tour of the church.

After a few years, I came back (this time also with my mum) to stay for one night in this hotel. Very clean room, in mountain style, well equipped, excellent heating and equipped with a nice balcony with spectacular views of Mount Cervandone and Cistella. New and very comfortable mattress. In the evening we had dinner there with a tasty plate of tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms (well presented) and a strudel (from their pastry shop included in the structure) and a hot mulled wine. Pleasant breakfast in the morning, between sweet. (jams of their own production) and a little salty. Friendly and helpful staff. Good quality/price. Advised!

We started with the idea of a quick lunch, but scrolling through the menu we pleasantly opted for the complete menu. Convenient location because you are passing through, convenient parking, beautiful outdoor terrace with stone tables; simple service; menus with proposals related to the territory; although tasty, I would have expected something better for a mountain platter: sliced cold cuts a bit thick and cheeses cut a bit thin. The wild boar stew with polenta is excellent. Average account taking into account the price increases.

Nice hotel, excellent value for money. We attended the New Year's Eve dinner and overall we ate well even though we expected kinder service. In fact, we noticed dirty looks and small comments from the staff (in particular a waitress) who judged our way of dressing making us feel uncomfortable. Halfway through the dinner we got up for a digestive cigarette and the waitress in question had the courage to tell us that we should have eaten quickly because they had a timetable to respect (actually the dinner that was supposed to start at eight started at twenty past eight so surely punctuality didn't have to come and explain to us) and in any case I find it unprofessional to speed up customers or make them feel in awe of a cigarette smoked mid-dinner. Being New Year's Eve my friends and I went to sleep late (around 02:00) but without disturbing the peace of the hotel, however according to the staff, after the dinner we should have gone to sleep immediately without being able to be together. In our group there was a girl who was just over eighteen and we didn't pretend to have who knows what party but at least we thought we could spend a few moments after dinner together. It will definitely be the last time we stay there. I would like to add that the rooms smelled bad.

It is a hotel in the center of Baceno with a typical mountain atmosphere in all areas. The rooms are accessed not directly from the bar and restaurant but by going out into the courtyard where the cars are parked and taking the lift or stairs. The rooms are simple but equipped with everything you need, comfortable mattress, TV, kettle, and at least mine has a windowed bathroom. The waiters are very kind and helpful. There is no real half board but if you stay for dinner you can choose whether to order à la carte or eat a 15 euro menu which consists of a first and second course of your choice from those offered. The only advice I would like to give is a little more friendliness on the part of the owners, perhaps under tension from the high season period. Overall a good experience and a place to consider when visiting the Ossola valleys
