Overall hotel was good. I had a (very) noisy heating system in my room that woke me up few times.

The room was nice with good bed and super clean. The breakfast buffet was very disappointing! Cold toast made ahead and fake scramble d eggs all lukewarm. Greasy bacon.All for 40 dollars for two with tip to the girls who were very nice.Tim Hortons would have been better !! and turned us away from eating there for the night meals . Do not go with buffet special!!

This hotel was on the older side and probably needs an overhaul. That being said, it was clean and the staff was good.There was a dripping noise in the ceiling coming from the room above that I told them about and they looked into it and said there was nothing they could do about it. They didn't offer to change our room or do any more follow through with my concern. Since we weren't in our room much, we just dealt with it.
Great location in Baddeck and it was walkable into the town center.

Rooms are in different areas of the complex with a very nice restaurant on site with excellent food. Rooms are very clean.

The pillows are to heavy and thick hurts neck. Bet is too soft and back hurts. Left my sweatshirt in closet and they wanted $10$ shipping $10 service fee additional bank fee to have it sent to Halifax. I would not stay there again

Front desk staff staff was very friendly but we had an issue with room cleaning staff. We stayed 3 nights & one day the bathroom wasn't cleaned & the next they didn't t make the beds. The crank out window handle was broken as well the bathroom sink drain stopper would not work. The sauna & whirlpool were out of service. The business card of the owner advertises the property as 4 1/2 stars but at best based on the condition 3 stars would be stretching it.
