This is a fantastic new resort built across the street from the new ski area. The skiing is touted as the largest in central China and there was ample area for beginners and decent intermediate runs. We went in December and not all of the runs were open which is not unusual for many ski resorts. The hotel was great. Very clean. The staff at both the hotel and ski slopes were incredibly helpful. The rooms were plenty warm. The food was good at the hotel restaurant (not Western but good Chinese food). There is a good hotpot restaurant next door that serves great coffee as well!! The town up the hill (5-10 minute walk) is charming and has many more eating options. We can't say enough positive things about our time at this hotel, enjoying skiing and the mountains. The area looks like it will experience much more future growth, so I would go again soon....
