Olympus Plaza Hotel

Great view and bar. ..food very average Room disgusting! Smelled of poop, moldy, fan did work but clunked , no fly screens so couldn't have window open due to bugs, sheet was small and didn't fit the bed etc etc. Eventually they moved me to a better room.

Uncomfortable, outdated, dirty, no a/c, bedding awful location 2-3 km away from anywhere, food cold and very average. On the plus side, the cocktails in the bar were excellent and good value. Staff were very average other than bar man who was excellent

I would like to highly recommend the hotel. Rooms are clean equipped with all the amenities necessary, stuff is very nice and helpful. Most importantly the view is amazing. We had a great time at the bar. I recommend trying the pink lady drink.

Great place, the only minus was that we didn't get elevator for our room ; ) but the guys from the hotel helped us out. The room was clean. View from window was amazing Breakfast and dinner was very good. Hospitality of the staff is 5/5 they were very helpful.

Eighteen of us touring with Flamingo Tours stayed at Olympus Plaza Hotel in Haputale on 9th and 10th June 2023. We were welcomed with a cup of tea on arrival. After check-in our baggage were delivered to our rooms. The room 645 allocated to us was comfortable, with clean, attractive bedding and towelling. Facilities included in the room were a fan, a kettle with tea and coffee, tv, two comfortable chairs and a dressing table. There is no air-conditioning as the climate does not require any. There were two outdoor chairs placed at the balcony that overlooked the hills beyond. The outside view was scenic and pleasant. The toilet was neat and white with clean towelling, soap, conditioner, and shampoo. Hot water was available but there was no hair dryer nor a fridge. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel. There was a wide variety of dishes with varied flavours to satisfy our taste buds. Most of us looked forward to the meals. In the evenings our group sat together in comfort and privacy, enjoying a drink, chit-chat, and company before proceeding to dinner. The staff were friendly, helpful, and courteous always ready to assist. Thank you for a most comfortable stay.

Very clean and friendly staff.Worth for the price, rooms are very good with nice view.The food is not tasty as expected. Need to improve.play area for kids and indoor sport area is impressive. good place to spend time with your kids and friends
