We stayed here with Troll expeditions. It has a 2-star rating. It is located in a very rural area. The entry is very small and everyone is required to take off their shoes and walk around the facility in their socks. The room was very small with no place to put our suitcases. The water in the bathroom smells and tastes like sulfur. There were no cups in the bathroom. There was no TV or safe in the room. There is radiator heat. There was a regular enclosed shower so no flooding the bathroom floor. There were two single beds put together with no end tables. The pillows were very flat. There was good wifi. There was a large community room with couches and chairs and a large dining area. There were games available and a piano. The breakfast buffet was the worst of the trip with minimal offerings of meat, cheese, bread and cereal. There is no restaurant at the hotel.

It is a scandal what people can offered for visitors and for family (4 persons) : a room for 4 persons in a basement, room even not heated and where you feel the wind entering the room from the exit door! It was very cold and You could feel it on the wall! No pictures of this room are available on booking sites! Therefore I have attached some pictures! Last Information : breakfast only from 8 till 9! Don’t misst it!!

Horrible guest house. Be careful. The approach is on a gravel road with potholes. Then you can't get into the house because nobody had given the door code for the entrance door beforehand. No text messages, nothing. It's good that other guests came back after a while. The room is tiny, estimated at around 12 square meters, no sink in the room, but with very thin walls, so you can hear everything from the next room. The shower head is half broken. The window in the room is half blind. Renovation is not on the agenda here. Breakfast is just toast, not everyone's cup of tea, and unfortunately not until 8 a.m. Bad if you want to drive a lot of kilometers. Waste separation is a foreign concept here: leftover food and cans are wildly mixed up around rubbish. Then an arrogant answer and no understanding of the shortcomings. Island Reisen booked this location, and here too they just shrugged their shoulders. Conclusion: urgent warning, keep your hands off!

We stayed in a quadruple room. We chose guesthouse to be able to have common areas and to be able to prepare our breakfast. We have found: - A very small room for the four of us (we had to take turns to organize the suitcases). - Only 2 showers with WC and an individual WC for the 8 rooms on the floor. - Insufficient common areas: a table with two chairs with a microwave and an armchair with two seats and a shelf. Impossible to have breakfast there or chat to prepare the route! Without a doubt, it is not what is reflected in the definition of booking accommodation

Nice and cozy guesthouse. We had the feeling of being guests in a real Icelandic house. Nice to be here. It is somewhat remote, you drive there on a long gravel road. Would prefer to book something more centrally located next time. Room was small but manageable. A point for improvement is to make more brackets and planks. We couldn't store things very conveniently. The wardrobe has a lot of space but few shelves and only 1 clothes hanger. Expand this a bit and all the stuff can go in that cupboard instead of on the floor. I think the area around this wardrobe could have been a bit cleaner. Unfortunately I came across some hair and dust. Shared bathroom, toilet and shower were good. Not our personal preference, but it was neat. Very friendly and involved owners! Received good tips about walks in the area. Nice cozy and hospitable guesthouse.
