I would like to extend my gratitude towards the staff's name Nova. She's really helpful and she's comply will all my request even though it's a just a small gesture. I do feel welcome with her warmly greeting and she still check on me after i've checked in. Highly recommended for this hotel as its just right in front of 'philipines market' and great location for tourist to have a walk for shopping a local food n souvenir and have a good seafood meals.10/10 for the bed!!!

I love the swimming pool especially at night! And the location is very good that there’s so many restaurants behind the hotel! Everything was perfect:)

The room was quite spacious, equipped with a lounge chair and a desk. While the bed might be a bit snug for three people, it fortunately had wheels, making it easy to move. The facilities felt a little dated. A significant service oversight was that despite booking for three adults, all amenities were only provided for two, which was not ideal. The sea-view room offered a good view from the window, perfect for watching the sunset. The hotel's swimming pool is located on the ground floor, right next to a city road, which made its location a bit less desirable. However, the hotel's overall location is excellent, with famous shopping malls and food streets all nearby. The gentleman at the front desk was also very helpful. Overall, I was quite satisfied.

It's very close to Tanjung Aru Beach and also conveniently located near Durian Street. However, it doesn't seem to have its own private beach. The double bed we booked was just right for our family of two adults and two children, and the bed itself was very spacious. We had booked breakfast for two, and upon seating, we were guided to a table and needed to sign for the number of diners. Our two children, aged 6 and 11, were not charged for breakfast! The Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk also didn't charge us a deposit! That was fantastic! However, avoid the Japanese restaurant next to the main dining area – it's a complete rip-off! We spent over 400 for what was essentially pre-cooked teppanyaki.

⸻ I had a wonderful stay at Citadines Waterfront Kota Kinabalu. The location is excellent – right by the waterfront with easy access to Suria Sabah Mall, local eateries, and Jesselton Point for island hopping. The rooms are modern, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and all the amenities needed for both short and long stays. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist, which made the whole experience even more pleasant. I especially appreciated the rooftop pool area, which offers a relaxing atmosphere and a nice view of the city and sea. Overall, this property is a perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers who want convenience, comfort, and great service in Kota Kinabalu. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to staying here again.

It's a relatively new hotel in Kota Kinabalu. However, for such a modern hotel, they still use traditional keys for room access, which is quite inconvenient. Basic toiletries are provided. For stays of up to three days, housekeeping does not clean the room; only bath towels are replaced. The air conditioning was excessively cold for the first two days, but by the last two, even set at 21 degrees, it felt like it was just blowing natural air with no cooling effect. Unfortunately, there's a foul-smelling ditch right next to the hotel, and the stench is immediately noticeable as soon as you step outside.

Perfect location for island hopping - 3 minutes walk to the Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal. The facilities are modern and the renovation still feels quite new. Service and food here is notably better than other nearby hotels. Food at the breakfast was fresh and of high quality. Would choose to stay here again in the future.

Next time balik KK will repeat again staying here with the same room. Deluxe Seaview. The breakfast was just so-so. Boleh lah. But the room was superb, dengan view yang lawa. They have a very big LG smarttv so boleh lah sign in netflix layan movie. Dan location also was very good. Walking distance to many main attractions di bndr KK ni.

Pro -Staff is helpful & friendly. -Provided free parking for those driving car. -Room is clean and housekeeping good. Cons -Just the Pedestrian crossing line to opposite road, the pelican crossing waiting is long and sometime not working.
