Honestly, I would not book with Marival emotions Vallarta again, nor in any hotel of its chain, they have been one of the worst family vacations I have had, since we arrived everything was wrong.
1. They gave us the 2 rooms and they were the wrong ones, although the keys they opened belonged to other guests and we had to leave, when we went to reception to clarify the situation, they didn't even ask for an apology.
2. In the room and the corridors we found cockroaches on several occasions.
3. Our room on 3 occasions out of 4 could not be cleaned since at 5 in the afternoon it was still not done and it was the time we went up to bathe and rest.
4. There are no waiters at the pools and the pool bar closes at 5pm.
6. The lounge chairs on the beach were not cleaned, every day they woke up dirty with sand, plus there were not even enough pool chairs for the number of guests and people ended up sitting on the floor or in the gardens in front of the bedrooms.
7. The a la carte restaurant reservation, you only have the right to 2 when you stay for 5 nights.
8. The waiters in the restaurants are obviously not enough for the number of guests, since their service was not good, they took a long time to bring the drinks or they did not bring them at all.
9. On one occasion in the buffet there was an area to prepare smoothies and they had fruit to choose from, I asked the attendant if he could give me some kiwi even if it wasn't a smoothie and he denied it, he told me that it was only for the smoothies and couldn't drink it.
10. The reservation does not include Wi-Fi so that they consider it, the ATM did not work, the elevators were sooooo neglected... Anyway.
I understand that 1 or 2 things happen that you don't like during a stay but I think this was more than just bad luck, it is evident that the hotel does not care about the quality of service, they should not say that it is 5 stars, when it clearly seems to be 2. I recommend you think twice before booking this hotel, the only redeemable thing is the food, congratulations to the chef and the beach.

We were traveling with an infant and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were so friendly and accommodating of our requests. The resort was clean and the food was great! I was so impressed at the amount of activities they had going on at the resort. We will definitely be returning!

Breath taking property. We were upgraded to a suite, well worth the hour sales pitch (we denied). Food was nothing amazing but service was wonderful and everything, from the rooms, the property, the pools and walkways and the beach, were all so clean and well kept. Thanks for a great vacation!!

We just returned from staying at Marival Emotions and it was a fantastic trip! The resort far exceeded our expectations. There was lots for kids to do and the dining & evening shows were great. The staff were super helpful and did their best to accommodate requests. The attention to detail at the kid’s buffet was also a really nice touch! We will recommend Marival to our friends and family.
My only complaint would be the 4 parrots that are housed in a cage near the main entrance. They seem bored and their cage isn’t a suitable habitat. I hope management will consider relocating them somewhere where they can have more enrichment and live in a more natural habitat.

Staff very friendly. But our room was dated, bathroom faucet broke within the first 5hours of our stay and we had a broken lamp which was clearly broke in our room. VERY difficult times trying to get reservations in any of the restaurants due to allowing guests to book for a week at a time. Only one staff to manage everyone. This could have definitely been done better. Aside those 2 issues the facility staff and area were great

We went with our three kids ages 4, 6, and 16. This is a great place for families. The resort is not luxurious but is kept meticulously clean. The cleaning lady made our room sparkle after our little ones made such a mess. The facilities were all super clean. The tile by the pools would get very slippery and I almost fell a couple times and saw a couple other people fall. The beach is amazing, shallow with the perfect sized waves for fun and still safe for kids. The sand is soft and not rocky at all in the water. We never left the resort for the whole week we were there because we loved the sun and beach and amenities. I only had two complaints, When you check in they pull you aside and try to pressure you into a timeshare presentation. We were tired from traveling and just wanted to go to our room but they took about 30 minutes trying to get us to sign up. Also, there are many restaurants on this property but two of them are only for members and there are three or four that were reservation only and we tried to get reservations and they were always booked and they gave us 9:20 pm reservations when we have little kids so we only got to eat at one of the nice restaurants one time. The buffet was good but we ate there three times a day for most of the time so we were tired of going there. The waitstaff were all so friendly and helpful though. Even with the restaurant situation we would still go back as it was the perfect place for kids. Lots of activities!

We been at this property before but this time Room 1533 was durty unbeliveble durty bed sheets old very old and durty as well I have to asked to changet . Please do something for us gues I always bood trhoght your agency and it seem like this time they give as a really poor service. hope next get away will be a betther experience
