Libo Hotels with balcony

"What I like most is : The room is on the fourth floor. I didn’t pay for an expensive room so the room looks out to the backyard which is disorganized. If I pay more I would’ve gotten a better view. What I pay is what I get obviously. Nevertheless the room is very very nice. It has many lights and well lit and I love it. I can read without feeling that I am living inside a cave. The smart toilet is a place to for buttock massage.  The breakfast is quiet good.. It has fruit, bao zi and a freshly made bowl of rice noodles. The hotel offers fruit for free . I love to have fruit and the fact that I don’t have to buy it and carry it back to the hotel. I have daily house keeping . My garbage was emptied.  There are 2 massage chairs that are very good. The hotel decor in the lobby and the room are very pleasant. The owner has good ‘taste’. I am not a big fan of disposable towels. If there is anything I prefer, is I want to cloth bathing towels. I felt like I used a piece of enormous napkins to dry my body. This is not a deal breaker though as I only stay 2 nights. If I stay longer, there would be anything else to do because I complete the whole circuit in less than 4 hours. The next day I went to Yao Shan and there wasn’t many people . But being 65, the entrance is free but I paid 20 rmb for the short bus ride. I paid 15 rmb one way on a DiDi there and the same coming back. The location is at the extreme end of this neighborhood and would require a 10 minutes uphill to the entrance. The park is quite big. You have to walk 10 minutes to 15 minutes to the entrance, then after you buy the ticket, another 10 minutes to the bus stop so it is quite a lot of walking before you begin your journey. If I have to do it all over again, I would have spent more time at every stop. I misunderstood that route A and route B is different. Route B is exactly the same as route A in reverse. The information given by the owner should include the trail from the bus top to the bridge . There is an option to ride a boat and then walk a bit. The trail is easy to walk and well maintained and quite pleasant early in the morning and before closing as there will be fewer people . The hotel is a bit far if you have a lot of luggages.  In summary, this hotel is the only one that offers breakfast in my 5 weeks through China and it was surprising good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Our stay at the Grand Skylight Hotel in Libo, Guizhou, was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is perfect, with a private, convenient passage directly to the Xiaoqikong scenic area, making sightseeing incredibly easy and stress-free. The rooms are spacious and elegant, with a refined and tidy layout. Anna at the front desk was exceptionally thoughtful, attentive, and enthusiastic. All the staff were very accommodating, patiently answering all our questions with professional and warm service. The overall environment, facilities, and service were impeccable. This is definitely our top choice for a vacation stay in Xiaoqikong, and we'll certainly choose this hotel again for our next visit!"

"I was extremely satisfied with this B&B. The hygiene, facilities, and service were all excellent. The breakfast was also quite exquisite. The room had a tea set, and sitting there enjoying a hot cup of tea while gazing at the misty clouds outside was incredibly relaxing. The B&B is also very close to the East Gate scenic area, just a few minutes' walk away. The landlady was warm and thoughtful; I had booked a room with a bathtub, and she even upgraded me to a room with a full bath! After exploring Libo, a good soak really helps to wash away the day's fatigue. Highly recommend!"

"I had looked at many places before, but couldn't find anything satisfactory. The night before heading to Libo, I finally settled on this hotel-style B&B near the East Gate of Xiaoqikong, and it exceeded my expectations. I was traveling with my family of four, and we booked a duplex room with three king-sized beds. The room layout, size, and ceiling height were all excellent, clearly the result of meticulous design and decoration, using high-quality materials. The lighting and curtains were all smart-controlled. The air conditioning could be turned on without a key card. Towels, bath towels, bedding, disposable toiletries, water kettle, and bottled water all featured the B&B's custom logo. The room also had a bathtub, and a disposable tub liner was provided. The towels and bath towels even came in individual sealed bags for hygiene. They offered complimentary pick-up and drop-off service from the high-speed rail station, and complimentary special drinks (which tasted as good as anything you'd get elsewhere). The staff were also very friendly; the front desk even helped us print two copies of my children's homework for free. We usually opt for five-star hotels when we travel, so choosing this B&B really impressed me with how far B&Bs have come!"

"This is a five-diamond hotel located within the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. It's actually a few hundred meters past the old east gate of the scenic area, right before Wangmeng Town. The location is excellent, very close to the Xiaoqikong Bridge and Laya Waterfall. Xiaoqikong has changed a lot; shuttle buses now operate within the scenic area, which is very convenient for tourists, though it has somewhat diminished the unique charm of the original forest edge landscapes. Since it wasn't peak season this time, the hotel price was quite favorable, which was nice. We had a bit of bad luck this trip; it had rained heavily in Libo a few days prior, so the water in Xiaoqikong, though clean, had a yellowish tint. It lacked the characteristic clear turquoise and deep blue hues we'd seen in different sections of the river in the past. The hotel's service was excellent. The sink in the bathroom was a bit clogged, and after one phone call, maintenance staff arrived immediately to fix it. Turns out, a previous guest had thrown a piece of clear adhesive from a band-aid into the basin, which got stuck with hair further down, blocking the drain. It's a shame that some guests have such poor etiquette; a thoughtless act like that can cause problems for others. The hotel breakfast was decent, with a good variety of local Guizhou specialties and standard breakfast options. The only downside was the bacon and Western-style sausages. Guizhou lacks companies that produce high-quality Western sausages, and those generally made in China are often just mediocre. I'd suggest Guizhou consider introducing enterprises like Germany's Schindele to produce high-quality Western sausages, bacon, and other products using Guizhou's excellent pork, beef, and lamb as raw materials. Supplying these to major hotels would elevate the dining experience in Guizhou and even the entire Southwest region. Furthermore, Guizhou Dragon's cured and smoked products are excellent. Perhaps they could offer spicy sausages, cured pork, and braised pork made from Congjiang fragrant pigs to consumers, which might better showcase the unique flavors of Guizhou cuisine than some of the bland, uninspired products currently available."

"I was really surprised when checking into the room that was a free upgrade by Trip.com! It was spacious and well equipped. What a luxury! There is a separate shower from the tub. A Japanese-styled toilet. A tea-drinking area. Breakfast was included in the rate, it was simply noodle soup, soya drink and steamed buns. But tasty and filling. The location is somewhat far for a walk from where you are dropped by the bus if you are carrying a big baggage. Otherwise, it's good for a walk to the scenic gate."

"The hotel is conveniently located near the West Gate of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area in Libo. The hotel provides unlimited shuttle service between the West Gate and the hotel. The hotel facilities are excellent, and the rooms are all attached villas. The room views are unbeatable, with rolling green hills and lush greenery—a 175-degree panoramic view! The hotel service is warm and attentive. Xiao Tang at the front desk, because I arrived at 4:05 PM, specially arranged for the scenic area to buy me tickets and expedite my entry. The hotel drivers, Xiao Huang and Xiao Mo, arrived quickly and efficiently, ensuring I wasn't kept waiting. Xiao Huang even offered suggestions, contributing significantly to my smooth entry into the scenic area! The restaurant food, especially the black goat stew, was superb. The waitresses were exceptionally helpful; even though I ate late, one waitress worked overtime for me, showing great dedication and responsibility. Breakfast was delivered to my room—a breakfast with an amazing view! This hotel has top-notch facilities and services; I will definitely stay here again when I visit Xiaoqikong in Libo. It's fantastic!"

"Unfortunately, we chose the wrong time of year. Heavy rain trapped us in Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, which was closed and roads were blocked. We couldn't hail a ride online, and after asking around on the street, only a kind man from Northeast China was willing to take us out to check if the roads were clear. Unfortunately, the landslide hadn't been completely cleared. So we checked into their guesthouse! The room was clean and odorless, perfect for taking photos, and the mirror created a wonderful atmosphere. The owners were warm and generous. Choosing this place in Libo is definitely a safe bet! Highly recommended! The service was warm and welcoming, making us feel comfortable. The front desk staff were also very attentive and made us feel at ease."

"This stay far exceeded my expectations. The room photos perfectly matched the actual room. The guesthouse has a great location, just a 5-minute walk from the scenic area entrance, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was warm and clean, with a unique decor, soft and comfortable bedding, and all the facilities were complete and very new. A washer and dryer were provided free of charge. The staff and receptionist were incredibly welcoming and attentive, offering a complimentary upgrade to a balcony room with a view. They patiently answered all my questions from booking to check-out, proactively providing travel advice and even giving me complimentary fruit, making me feel truly welcome. Overall, it's excellent value for money, with a quiet and private environment, and attention to detail that shows their care. I highly recommend it to travelers seeking comfort and convenience."

"I have to commend this B&B. After extensive research and reviews online, I chose this one, and it was absolutely worth it! The pick-up service was very thoughtful. It's quiet and clean. The room facilities are both practical and comprehensive, with a dryer and a bathtub by the window, offering natural scenic views. All the bathroom fixtures are Kohler, which for this price point, is top-notch. The front desk staff provided excellent and attentive service. Personally, I feel room 301 is the quietest and most comfortable. The soundproofing is also superb! Highly recommend!!! Service: They even included tickets to Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, which has stunning views. We had a great time, and if I get the chance to visit Libo again, I'll definitely choose this place."
