Amazing
GGuest UserFrom the moment we arrived via boat to the most beautiful setting, we were breath taken! The private beach is great for snorkeling and safe for kids. Our room (no. 6) was a good size, nice balcony, some sea views and comfortable. Staff were warm, welcoming and helpful, especially the receptionist who was always smiling and super friendly. Of our 8-day stay in Koh Lipe, we spent 3 nights here. By comparison, the hotel we moved to next was marginally cheaper, also with a high (but not as high) rating. Ten Moons was the better deal!!! Pros: - Stunning location - Large glass water jug in the room (which was refilled daily using a 5 gallon water bottle rather than multiple small plastic bottles). Great to see the hotel reducing the use of plastic! - Great breakfast selection - Food available all day - Clean - Staff helpful and friendly - Life jackets, beach toys, snorkels, etc available for use for free - Quiet location/very peaceful and relaxing - Lovely sand (sand texture tends to vary in Koh Lipe however it was great here!) - Walking distance or ferry ride to walking street and more livelier areas Cons: - One of the few hotels not showing a sign or communicating/educating tourists NOT to step on coral. The by-product is that there isn’t a lot of live coral to see although there is still a lot of fish life. By comparison, we saw a hotel further down actively promoting not to stand on coral with staff educating tourists - No pool (although not needed as the sea area is more than ample to swim in) - No kayaks (available for hire at THB200 per hour nearby, less than a minute walk away) - Not for people who struggle with stairs (although there are a couple of villas on the beach without the use of stairs) We would most certainly stay here again!

XXiaomaodoudebabaThe hotel boasts an excellent location with breathtaking views. However, the only downside is the absence of a communal swimming pool. Private pools are exclusively available with pool-access rooms; standard rooms do not have them. For vacationers, please note that breakfast is à la carte when booking. In the evenings, there are several spots right next to the hotel perfect for enjoying a drink while watching the sunset. It offers excellent value for money, being slightly more affordable than Ilyn and just over a hundred meters away in terms of location.

PPotato AceRoom: Clean and nice. Breakfast: Good, tasty. Service: Restaurant staff were very good, but the front desk receptionists need to improve their service attitude and smiles. Location: A 1-minute walk to Walking Street, right next door. The border checkpoint is also next door, so the location is very convenient. A welcome drink upon arrival was a nice touch, especially since it was hot – the cold towel and drink were perfect! 👍 The pool with a pool bar is also great. Overall, everything was very good.

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel for 5 nights to celebrate a special occasion. my birthday, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing and far from what I had expected. During booking, I had clearly mentioned that it was a birthday stay. However, upon arrival, there was no welcome note or any gesture to make the occasion feel special. After an early morning ferry and a tiring journey, I was looking forward to a warm check-in experience, but instead, I was asked to download an app to make spa bookings. The app notifications became intrusive throughout the stay, which detracted from the relaxing atmosphere I was hoping for. Ahead of my birthday, I checked with three different staff members to confirm my massage booking, as I was not familiar with using the app. Each time, I was assured that the booking had been arranged. However, on the actual day, when I arrived at the spa, I was told there was no booking because I had not confirmed a time via the app. This was both frustrating and disappointing, especially as I had proactively sought confirmation multiple times at reception. What made matters worse was the lack of recovery from the hotel. There was no apology gesture no complimentary drink, no small token nothing to acknowledge the inconvenience or the ruined birthday experience. Later, when we requested assistance to arrange transport to find an alternative massage outside the hotel, we were informed that the taxi would cost THB 100 (USD3.00). While the amount is minimal, this would have been a perfect opportunity for the hotel to show goodwill after the earlier service failure. Unfortunately, no such effort was made. We were told the free shuttle only available from 6-8pm no exceptions in any case. Overall, the stay felt impersonal, with an over-reliance on the app and a noticeable lack of human interaction. It felt more like staying in a business hotel than a leisure resort. Guests should not be expected to manage their entire stay through an app especially when they come to relax. This experience was disappointing, particularly in how the situation was handled. There is clearly room for improvement in service recovery and guest engagement

GGuest UserI really enjoyed our stay jt was low season so nice and quiet but still a good atmosphere. Rooms were comfortable, we booked two but could have managed with one room with a 9 and 12 year old. Everything worked , the internet was decent. Gardens and greenery lovely spot. Breakfast was fairly standard for this type of accommodation. Nice fresh fruit eggs, bacon, pancakes , waffles and Asian options, eaten with a nice view of the sea. Location at end of beach but close to walking street. We tended to walk to North point and get a taxi scooter back for 50b. Food on island was good. Coffee from tugboat needs a mention. Island overall is beautiful and has a really nice vibe at present hopefully it doesn't get over developed. North point is a lovely area which still has it's natural beauty.

GGuest UserWe stayed 5 nights at Akira Lipe Resort and 3 nights at Mali Sunrise Beach Resort. Although Mali Resort was more expensive, overall Akira Resort was much better in almost every aspect. In terms of cleanliness, swimming pool condition, facilities, and staff friendliness, I honestly don’t understand why Mali charges a higher price. Sunrise Beach itself was beautiful, and we appreciated the complimentary kayak rental. Breakfast was also very good. However, there were some serious issues. The bedding was not properly maintained — while the outer cover looked clean, the inner duvet was yellowed and visibly stained underneath. Most concerning was the swimming pool. The pool water was visibly dirty even to the naked eye. After spending a long time swimming, both my husband and my child developed skin rashes and suffered from severe stomach problems. They had been swimming, diving, and accidentally swallowing some pool water. I did not swim at all, and I was completely fine, while both of them experienced the same symptoms. This strongly suggests that the pool hygiene needs urgent improvement. I visited in early February during peak season. Pattaya Beach, where Akira Resort is located, was calm, wave-free, and much more enjoyable for swimming and relaxing. Sunrise Beach, although beautiful, had very strong waves, making it less suitable for playing in the water. That said, kayaking to the small island directly in front of the resort for snorkeling was an amazing experience. This is definitely one of Mali Resort’s biggest advantages. Some of the restaurant staff were warm and kind, but most of the staff, including those at reception, appeared tired and expressionless. Overall, I personally do not think this resort offers good value for the price and would not recommend it. For the same budget, I would strongly suggest staying at Akira instead.

GGuest UserA wonderful hotel. The grounds are all green, and there's a clean pool with a sea view and a path lined with palm trees. The rooms aren't brand new, but they're clean and everything worked perfectly. The room was spacious and bright, thanks to the large panoramic windows. Breakfast is a buffet. It's modest, but you can definitely get your fill. The staff are very friendly. The hotel is conveniently located. They have their own sun loungers on the beach. All the cafes and shops are nearby. We highly recommend this hotel! We'll definitely stay here again next time!

HHenryk Karl HermannFirst of all, the hotel itself is nice and close to the water with a nice view, this can be definitely recommended. But there are a couple of things that are not good. 1. A generator is running around the clock close to the entrance which vibrates through the ground. Earplugs were necessary to sleep. 2. The bar with awesome view closes 8pm already. 3. Lack of space for breakfast, you need to wait and come back until a table is free 4. E.g. Omelette is not possible to be served with vegetables at all, just egg and cheese in it, thats it. Milk, Salt, etc. needed to be refilled by actively engaging with the staff 5. The location is really far away from everything, but this is not serious as it can be considered. One night is okay, but there is not more around to be seen. Sunrise or Pattaya Beach has mu g more to offer.

GGuest UserThis hotel is not too far from Pattaya beach, but Google maps will let you down - it says there is no connection. Walk out past the front desk, turn left, and walk to the beach. Fairly convenient, although a bit far from the walking street. There does not seem to be anything near the hotel.  I enjoyed my stay here because the room was neat and newly decorated. The staff seemed nice, although I did not stop for any meals. On the day of my departure, I walked to the ferry boat launch.

GGuest UserThe position of the bungalows are right on sunrise Beach. We had bungalow number three which is on the beach from and perfect every morning. I don’t think I would want to stay in any other bungalows past the first two rows they’re basic but sufficient and we had a great stay here. There are lots of boats, but it really isn’t a problem. Easy to walk to walk straight probably 10 to 15 minutes. The breakfast was basic but sufficient I would stay here again.
