Everyone has different experiences and expectations, of course, but since this is the first hotel of my second trip to Bali, I must say I was a bit disappointed.
1. The view I expected, based on photos, was quite different from what I saw in reality. Perhaps it's because I've seen so many stunning views before, but I felt a bit let down. I mentioned to the hotel that the room didn't seem to match the one I had booked, but they told me that the specific room had already been taken by someone who arrived earlier, and that I was offered a similar room in the same category. I guess I had very high expectations, which led to a bit of disappointment.
2. Since the entire hotel is made of bamboo, I understand that insects are somewhat inevitable. However, last night I found more than 10 ants and other bugs coming out of the pillow, which made it difficult to sleep.
3. We asked if we could check out just an hour later due to our late arrival, but were told even an hour was not possible. We accepted that, but it was still a little disappointing.
I’m sure this hotel may be a great experience for others, but personally, there were quite a few things that left me feeling let down.
