I originally booked a superior room but decided to upgrade to a deluxe room for an additional fee.Unfortunately,the upgrade didn’t quite meet expectations. The hotel overall feels very outdated—especially the rooms and bathrooms. The bed was too firm, pillows were uncomfortable. The bedding and towels looked old and used.
Each room we experienced had its own issues.Some rooms had small windows with poor natural light and no proper view. Others felt damp,humid,and cold with leaking air conditioning and difficult temperature control and had a connecting door with thin walls and poor noise insulation.We also had a room with a nice pool view and better lighting—but frustratingly,there was no internet connection.
Breakfast was average —nothing special.
The hotel is situated in a lively and noisy area near Kuta.Although it is approximately a 12 to 15-minute walk to Beachwalk Shopping Mall and Kuta Beach, the route can be challenging due to heavy traffic congestion and poorly maintained sidewalks.
Spacious lobby with plenty of seating.
On a positive note,the staff were great—especially Monica, Leo, Adi, and Darmayanti, who were all friendly and helpful.

I stayed at The ONE Legian Bali and even extended my stay multiple times, but the last experience was unacceptable. I specifically asked the front desk manager to show me a good superior room near the reception. He personally showed me one – but it turned out to have a horribly loud AC that sounded like a motor running all night.
There’s no way the manager wasn’t aware of this issue. It felt completely disrespectful and dishonest to knowingly place a guest in such a room. I couldn't sleep at all that night due to the noise.
This level of service is simply not acceptable. I expected much more, especially after being a returning guest. I will be sharing this experience across multiple platforms – including Google, TripAdvisor, and other travel sites – to make sure others are warned.
If you value your rest and honest service, I suggest looking elsewhere.

The balcony railing was wobbly and disconnected from the wall. I could shake it and I guess if I lent across it would’ve fell off. The rains were nothing special. The balcony was 1 m x 1 m but the location was great. It was okay for the price, I guess.
