The beach is dirty and full of waste. You cannot swim. The bathroom is open / outside so you have so much animals in your room. Mosquitoes comes under the doors and ants in the bed, so much spider webs under the mattress and reptiles and spider in the bathroom. After a complaint at the reception the management told me they spray every day-not so healthy. The employees and the management are very friendly but the bungalows are not really clean and old. I have had also white moulds on my wall beside the bathroom. Then I had to pay 2 breakfast due I was allone and have booked for me allone. This is not legal to pay tax and breakfast and give not a refund as Trip.com asked for the tax and breakfast refund.

Had a great time there, hotel could get a touch up. Restaurant has very tasty food and fresh juices! Staff was very friendly.

If you want some peace and quiet and are looking for a time out with some chillax time then this is the place for you. Traditional style villas, great staff and a beautiful location. The food from the little restaurant is fantastic, probably the best nasi goreng I have ever had in Bali, not to mention the mi goreng and the spring rolls, delicious 🤤

Amazing views from upstairs restaurant for breakfast. Food is so good, fresh, tasty and nicely presented.

I stayed here as a solo traveller early March for 5 nights but wish I'd had longer. The resort is absolutely beautiful in every way. The layout is fabulous and the grounds are just stunning and impressive. It's an older style accommodation and typically Balinese which for me ticked all the boxes whilst staying in Candidasa as I prefer authenticity. My welcome and service throughout my stay was EXCEPTIONAL - every single member of staff was super friendly, helpful, polite, happy and hard working - they all remembered my name. I was sincerely made to feel very special and could not have received better customer service. The warmth and smiles I received every day from each staff member really made my day and as such, found it difficult saying "goodbye" after just five days. The villas are very spacious and well equipped. My superior garden villa (204) was beautiful, peaceful and well designed. I didn't need a sea view as the ocean is on the doorstep. The pool is beautiful and a great size for swimming laps. Plenty of sun-beds and parasols. Breakfast was very good as is the on-site restaurant and cafe by the pool - serving lovely food at great prices. Candidasa is a QUIET area which is exactly what I wanted, there are not many tourists and it tends to attract more middle aged folk (I'm a very young 62 yr old). I go not this town each year for those specific reasons. However, there is a plethora of amazing restaurants to choose from in walking distance from the resort - a couple VERY close by. The resort is set down a quiet path about 600 metres off the main road so be prepared to WALK into town, hire a scooter or arrange transport. I felt completely safe walking solo each day during both day and night-time. I've stayed in many accommodations over the years in Candidasa but PURI BAGUS has become my favourite and is where I plan on returning again and again in the future.
