Loved the team's customer service, so kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and air conditioning worked great. The location is right on the beach and our room had an amazing view.

We’ve been to Vienna beach resort cafe multiple times, used as a base for snorkeling to see beautiful coral reef & search for the turtles in Lipah beach! Ordered food / drinks afterwards. Staff are so friendly, great coffee & food. I will miss my Daily iced cappuccino!!!!

Came here to access the snorkelling on Lipah beach. We tried other spots in Amed but this was the best during our time for visit. Crystal clear water and you step off the black sand into the water and it is just full of life. Huge patches of coral all sorts of fish. Calm water not too deep. Nice to see a diver installing frames on the sea bed with coral stems to grow more reef. Note that for sunbeds on the beach you have to get from the beach chaps, we paid 100k for 2 beds all day. Can also rent snorkelling gear from them but we had our own. We eat in the Vienna restaurant every day for lunch. Brilliant service, amazing view, nice breeze. All food we tried was good. There is a pool next to the restaurant and the staff let us dip in there even though we were not residents. In my opinion best snorkel spot right off the beach in Amed, especially with a 9 and 6 year old kid neither of whom had properly snorkelled before but after one day they love it. Go early for snorkelling, lunch at vienna, then more snorkelling. Also the beach is soft volcanic sand a lot of others are pebbles and rocky… love vienna and this beach!

DIRTY / SMELLY / SEA IS DISGUSTING/ BEACH IS HORRIBLE AS THE CHAIRS ARE SO OLD AND USED AND DIRTY ! i will of course never come again . My money is wasted … too late The hotel rooms are nice . But the rest is local basic standards. They need the money why they dont clean the beach every day, clean the sea ( at least a minimum) . Have nice long chairs, new towels … it is all old, dirty but the worst is the plastics in the sea ( fishes dont deserve such a bad treatment). Shame on the owner of this hotel to propose such a dirty beach … and sea . Also pls keep the restaurant a clean place, the spot is exellent. I am in schok that local people are so little educated in term of plastic

We had a wonderful stay at Vienna Beach resort. Maday (one of managers) was SO kind to us. he helped us get to our dive site and made sure that we had everything we needed. We loved the morning breakfast right on the beach! We loved snorkeling right outside the hotel. And we loved the relaxed but caring attitude of the staff. We will return. And encourage other Americans and Canadians to come! Taslim & Ayla

After a covid enforced absence of a couple of years, we are back at our favourite holiday destination of Bali. A 3 hour drive took us to this resort, where we discovered that the 2/star rating is appropriate. The Seaview room was far too expensive for what is offered up, (No tv, phone,hand towels, soap cakes in bathroom, minimal coffee materials, no bottled water. It was however, spotlessly clean. The resort is saved by the restaurant, and its position, which is absolute beachfront. The restaurant serves excellent food, and it is only a few steps down onto the beach. There are many activities, again expensive, available on the beach, and the resort is in a beautiful setting. It is an ideal place if you are a keen diver or snorkelled, but if not, don’t bother.

We were so happy to arrive at the beautiful location of Vienna. The coral and beach access is great for those less-than mobile. Having booked in for 3 nights, we were told during dinner on our first day, than we’d need to move out today, after only one night. Firstly we were told we’d arrived too late for checkin (we arrived at 2:30pm). Then the manager Made Soso told us he’d only confirmed one night for us, despite having our names on the booking white-board for the full 3 nights. Basically someone else wanted our room for longer, and we were gazumped. It was unpleasant, avoidable, and the loss of of potential lifelong customer, because one of our group lives in Bali.
