The first impression when I walked into the hotel was good, and then the questions started.
The sheets in the room I was given at the beginning were damp and the mattress was saggy.
After changing rooms, the wash basin in the new room was clogged and could not be drained. But the biggest problem was that the bedding was uncomfortable. The quilt provided was fluffy and uncomfortable on the skin.
In addition, at 6 o'clock in the morning, there were all kinds of birds chirping and the sound of motorcycles, so I didn't get a good rest.
To their credit, the pool and public areas are very comfortable.

This is real gem and comes at a very decent price. It has a cozy ambience, a homely feel and has quiet surroundings even though it is still walking distance to Ubud centre. The staff is lovely and helpful. We’re very pleased and will definitely come back :-)

10/10 for me. So relaxing and you feel part of Ketuts family . Such a great location easy to walk to Main Street beautiful pool and the breakfast is nice. Not sure why you’d spend $1000s on those big resorts with you can have something like this. We had room 13 great size down stairs with privacy. I miss it already.

beautiful traditional environment and rooms, great price and the food delicious and inexpensive. Friendly staff, can organise everything you need. Easy walk to main road and palace and market and rice terrace walk. Loads of eateries and facilities close buy. When you are at the pool and in the gardens you wouldn't know the hustle and bustle of ubud was only minutes away. Comfy beds and reasonable aircon to ensure you have a good nights sleep. Will come again for sure. Deluxe room no.13 had a fridge and huge balcony overlooking the river and ravine. You need to be able to walk steps if you have this room, but many standard rooms closer to reception have not many steps

Spent the first week in Ubud (a bood’) at Ketut’s Place. What an oasis! The street is a bit busy but a few steps into the compound, the sounds abate and all you hear are the birds, rustling in the trees and fountains in the pool. Room was great with a queen and twin bed, sitting area and bath with shower. Plenty of storage. The included breakfast was wonderful as were all the other meals. The best part? The people! Every request was met with a “yes”. Ketut introduced himself and said hello. They offer a variety of massages conveniently located on site. Whilst there is upstairs eating above the kitchen, dining at the poolside area was my favorite and was perfect for playing cards and chatting with other guests. Definitely recommend Ketut’s! Ketut’s Place is a hidden gem. Behind small doors you find yourself in an authentic, beautiful place to stay with a wonderful garden. The staff of Ketut are all very friendly and welcoming. And lead you to your uniquely decorated room. With wooden doors and a nice bed. There is a mosquito net and airco. Each room has a balcony. Ours even had a terrace overlooking the garden and swimming pool. The breakfast was delicious with a big plate of fruit and several options, like pancakes. Ketut’s place is highly recommended by us!

The hotel room itself is fashioned in the traditional Balinese sense with 4 poster bed and mosquito nets. There is no tv but the room would look silly if it had one. The door locks with a chain and padlock and there is a table and chairs out on a private balcony. The grounds are quiet tranquil serene and beautifully manufactured. This is by no means a typical hotel stay. Ketuts fits right in with the Ubud architecture. It was a different experience but highly enjoyable.

Exceeded our expectations! Very cozy, quiet and beautiful hotel. The staff is super nice and helpfull, amazing breakfast, nice and clean rooms. Pool area is very beautiful and comfortable. Near the center, but in a quiet place. Very happy with this choise ❤️
