Ubud Sari Health Resort

A historic hotel with an excellent location right in the heart of Ubud, just a short walk from nearby temples and the main walking street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Soundproofing in the rooms could be better; it was easy to hear the sounds of ceremonies from the adjacent temple and palace at night. The room itself was quite clean and tidy, and the older facilities are understandable given the hotel's traditional charm.

Not bad. It's centrally located in Ubud, like a hidden oasis with lush greenery. Step right outside and you're on a street full of dining, entertainment, and shopping. The palace is just a short walk away, and the Sacred Monkey Forest is about two kilometers. Very convenient.

This hotel is very quiet and has a tropical jungle vibe. The facilities are also beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent. However, the room itself was relatively simple, and the bathroom looked like it had seen better days. There was also a slight stain on the sheets in room 44, which made me feel like the hotel wasn't very particular about cleanliness. Staying in February, I also noticed the room was quite humid.

This hotel is absolutely terrible. The Wi-Fi doesn't work unless you're in the lobby. The facilities are awful; there are only two hair dryers for the entire hotel. If another guest is using them, you're out of luck. There were even bloodstains on the sheets! The absolute worst part was being woken up from my nap to be told they needed to clean the room and I had to switch rooms. I absolutely do not recommend this place! It's beyond bad 👎

The hotel is a bit off the main street, but the walk towards the palace is filled with small stalls and shops, so it doesn't feel far at all. Taxis will drop you off on the other side, which makes the walk to the hotel a bit shorter. I really loved the hotel's ambiance, with its traditional Ubud-style terraced rice fields. There were no tables and chairs in the room itself, but there were some right outside the door, which was sufficient. Initially, I was a bit worried due to some reviews mentioning it being unclean, but my actual stay was very pleasant. The floors were spotless. Sweet items and dead insects can attract ants, so just be mindful of that. For this price and environment, I'm very satisfied. The breakfast fruits were excellent! We had a 6 AM pickup for Nusa Penida, and they kindly packed us bread, bananas, and eggs for breakfast. On that day, the shuttle driver was able to drive right up to the entrance.
