The Retreat at Kharista by Ekosistem

Everything about this place was great except it gets noisy by the motorbikes around. Sound proof is not great. If this can get some improvement that would be better. Breakfast menu is awesome!

From the warm welcome by Ari, who always greeted us with a smile, to the helpful staff who assisted with check-in and check-out, this place made our first Bali experience truly special. The landscaping, architecture, and the path to our reserved room were absolutely stunning — just what any traveler to Bali would hope for. We loved the flexibility of dining anywhere we wanted, whether in the restaurant or in our room. The lush garden means you might see some bugs outside, but we didn’t have any issues inside the room. The on-site massage was excellent, making our stay even more relaxing. One thing to note: there are many Korean travelers here, which might be comforting if you're from Korea. Highly recommended for a relaxing and beautiful start to your Bali trip!

My stay at Kharista was very good. I had a lovely time! The service was delightful, and everyone was eager to help. I booked an aromatherapy massage at the SPA and everything was amazing. Surprisingly way better than the local massages. I advise you to book it! I was alone and did not feel like I needed to book a villa. The room were large enough! I did not put a 5-star rating as I got woken up from my sleep by the neighbours having s** and me hearing everything. Maybe the « Retreat » bedrooms were not noise-proof.

Great Villa Good value Leaky roof but amazing how the traditional Balinese roof works. Abit noisy next door otherwise highly recommended
