The hotel is decorated as old Balinese style, which adds to the feel, but unfortunately it also means they don’t want to modernize as an excuse.
Good: price, location is ok, close to airport, direct beach access, very polite and (mostly) helpful staff, very quiet (away from the road and clubs).
OK: breakfast, room (size and style), restaurant.
Bad: bedsheets and towels (clean, but not new, stains), in-room amenities (wifi sucks, old wall outlets, old electric appliances, old and unsecure doors and locks.
Verdict: public area is better than the rooms, you’re getting a good deal considering the price, but next time we would just spend more for something better rather than coming back here. Honestly, the hotel is pretty old, so because of much earlier good reviews here it still holds 4 star rating which isn’t true anymore.
