Mercure Properties in Bali

The hotel is beautiful, just like in the pictures. The gym has the basics, and there are two pools – the rooftop pool is spectacular, and the one by the lower beach is very nice. The only issue we had was at the end of our stay. We asked to extend for another week and didn't realize they charged us about €100 more than if we'd booked online. After we pointed out the price difference, they just told us it's always better to book through apps, and that was it – not even a simple thank you 🙄.

The staff were great. Rooms were a bit dated and it could use with a renovation, lots of loose fittings and other wear and tear. The walls are very thin too- I thought my door bell was ringing when it was next door- it was loud enough to wake me each time and to hear conversations etc. The infinity pool is a great spot and the staff are very friendly. It’s a shame the beach out the front of the hotel is eroded severely so there isn’t much there, it’s better to walk down the beach a bit to find a nicer patch, but not too far- about 5 minutes.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. It's not too crowded. The breakfasts have become a bit sparse, but the location is convenient. There's a shuttle to the beach, and the sea is clean and beautiful. All the massage parlors and restaurants are nearby. The price and quality are well-matched. If you're planning to explore a lot of places in Bali and not just stay at the hotel all day, I recommend this hotel; you won't regret it.

Location is unbeatable, close to everything, beach, restaurants, convenience stores. The hotel is also nice actually, it has two swimming pools, restaurant near pool and beach… however it is aged already and lack of maintainance, its room towels and amnities are also aged and no maintainance… but overall, it is nice acctually if their minus are acceptable.
