Balranald Colony Inn Motel

This is such a lovely little Motel. Easy walk to the club for dinner. The owner could not have been nicer. My mother & I stayed overnight before attending a funeral the next day. As we had time to fill in before the short trip she offered the use of the room until we were ready to go. Lovely and clean and nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend this Motel. A lovely experience. Thank you:)

Myself, my mother and my two small dogs were booked into another hotel for the night in Balranald. Upon arrival, we discovered that they hadn't actually secured the room for us despite taking my credit card details. After a nine hour drive from Canberra we were exhausted and had resigned ourselves to the fact we may have to sleep in the car for night. We saw a sign for the Colony Inn on the side of the road. We pulled up and called the number. I asked if they were pet friendly and explained our dilemma. Without hesitation, the owner welcomed us and was able to give us a room. The room was spotless! The beds were so comfy and the room was spacious! There is a lovely grassy area for the pooches as well. I'm not actually sure if this motel is pet friendly however they welcomed us with open arms for the night! I can not recommend this motel enough. A quaint little property run by a lovely family! Thank you for saving us for the night :)
