I booked an overnight reservation for my husband's birthday celebration. The entire experience was unique and simply outstanding in every way! We were made to feel VERY SPECIAL by each and every staff member with whom we engaged. We were CONTINUALLY welcomed throughout the stay from the person who opened the car door and greeted us by name to the very knowledgeable concierges, the room service staff, the culinary staff, the bellman, the driver, Lottie Dottie and EVERYBODY! The hotel was very clean and beautifully adorned with pictures, books, furniture, plants and artifacts that told the story of the hotel. This includes the very accommodating bedroom with a comfortable canopy bed and a pristine, spacious and updated bathroom. One could ALWAYS count on soul-stirring music playing in the background of every public space. Each tune moved us to murmur the lyrics regardless of where we were and what we were doing. Ever had a snack attack? No worries! The room was well stocked with a variety of goodies and beverages to soothe those evening urges. And, finally, let me praise the food selections offered to us at teatime and breakfast. Homemade jam, almond butter, muffins, oat flapjacks, chicken sausage, eggs, and more! This was quite an awesome getaway! And, yes, we would do it all over again!

Ah, Baltimore, a city of rich history and eclectic charm. My wife and I recently had the pleasure of a stay at the Hotel Ulysses, a luxurious retreat nestled in the heart of this vibrant city. True to the reputation of the New York-based design firm, Ash, the Ulysses is nothing short of an architectural marvel. The first thing that catches your eye? The hotel's impeccable aesthetic. It's a masterful blend of old-world charm and modern design, encapsulating the very essence of Baltimore's diverse character. While the rooms might have been a tad on the cozier side, they more than made up for it with their plush comfort and attention to detail. The Ulysses truly exemplifies the notion that beauty lies in the details, and the meticulousness with which they've curated every aspect of the guest experience speaks volumes. The 19th-century charm of the Mount Vernon neighborhood is beautifully echoed within the Ulysses. The delicate stained-glass skylight, the ornate crown molding, and the preserved brass postal box serve as a testament to the building's rich history. But it's not all vintage here. The interiors seamlessly transition from the ornate influences of the Art Nouveau era to a more streamlined approach, evident in the hickory wood furniture adorned with Ash’s custom textiles. And oh, those hand-beaded lampshades and embroidered quilts! They added the perfect splash of color and quirk. A special shout-out to the carved flamingos that support the bedside tables, a delightful nod to Baltimore's own John Waters and his ”Pink Flamingos.” It's this mix of opulence and eccentricity that makes the Ulysses stand out. Booking through Trip.com was a new experience for us. A bit unconventional, sure, but it came through in the clutch. The $35 ”destination fee” threw us for a loop initially, but the $20 credit we received towards our bill at the hotel restaurant (Ash Bar) or the bar (Blooms) made it all worth it. Speaking of Blooms, what an experience! The mirrored ceiling, the crimson banquettes, and the purple stools set the stage for a night to remember. In a nutshell? The Hotel Ulysses is a triumph, an ode to Baltimore's multifaceted spirit. Whether you're here for the history, the design, or the sheer experience, the Ulysses promises and delivers. The good news is, the rooftop restaurant is very nice with beautiful views, a lively bar and imaginative cocktails plus good food.  The hotel room we had was a bit run down. The tub didn’t drain properly, the makeup mirror was smudged, the pillowcase had a hole, and the room just seemed tired. It needed a chair. Other than the bed, there wasn’t any place to sit. I think there’s hotel needs a refresher.

The Hotel Indigo in Baltimore is one that provides comfort, access to quality restaurants that represent diverse cuisines, and customer service with personality and a smile. The food menu is sufficient and the bartenders are well versed in creating whatever cocktails you may enjoy. The rooms are quiet, the water pressure is strong, and the cost is competitive. I stayed 2 nights and when I checked out late, the hotel had no issue with it. I was able to walk from the Penn Station to the hotel with no difficulties.

The hotel is across from the north gate and sports field of JHU. Most of the people staying in this hotel are JHU parents. The price is high during the school season. The hotel hardware is old, especially the anti-collision strips at the corners of the bed are aging and falling off. I bumped into them several times when walking and had to put a paper bag there to remind myself to avoid them. The decoration of the bathroom is also old. The service staff is friendly and the front desk staff will take the initiative to greet.

The environment is elegant and tidy, and the decoration is warm and generous. The beds are soft and comfortable, and the air conditioning is very quiet. The breakfast is varied and tastes good. The front desk service is warm, the procedures are fast, and it feels very professional. There are plenty of parking spaces and easy to get in and out. The overall feeling is excellent value for money and it is a pleasant stay experience.

It is an excellent, peaceful location. The hotel seems to be old and needs renovations. Complimentary breakfast was not good but manageable for a quick one-night stay.

The location is a bit biased and suitable for renting a car. There is no place to eat around, but I feel that the restaurant is good, there are meals at 11 o'clock in the evening. The standard American breakfast is quite rich. The hotel bed seems to be quite tight and needs to be booked in advance. The room and its supplies are also good and worth recommending.

The hotel is located in the Baltimore area. The hotel reception service is very good. There are Chinese restaurants nearby. It takes about half an hour to walk to the inner port. You can browse various architectural styles all the way. The nearby bus station can be walked in about one or two minutes. It takes less than half an hour to go to the train station. The hotel facilities are very simple, but worthy of the hotel's stay price. But personally feel that the safety measures are not good. If it is a female friend, it is recommended to book carefully, because the insurance facilities on the door of the room are bad (I changed two rooms).
