"We stayed here on the day of my son’s 4th birthday. We were told that our room would take an extra 30 minutes for birthday decorations, but we were taken aback that the towel decorations alone took 30 minutes to set up. We also requested connecting rooms, but since we had booked king rooms, they were unable to change one of our king rooms to a twin and told us to rebook. However, the rooms are big, spacious, and clean. They come with a sofa that can fit an adult to rest on. The pool and the small playground next to it were great for keeping our kids entertained. The breakfast spread was good, with a lot of choices. Location-wise, it is very good. There were supermarkets, plenty of food options (many outside the hotel), and even a laundromat."

"We had a wonderful stay at Amerald Hotel. The room was clean, spacious, very comfortable, and offered a beautiful view. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We also enjoyed the private beach, and the free parking was very convenient. The breakfast was wonderful with a nice variety of options to start the day. We even met the manager, Janice Yap, who was very helpful and welcoming. It’s a great place to unwind, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and get away from the city. The facilities were well-maintained, and the location was convenient. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Hard Rock Hotel is a wonderful hotel. The service is warm and friendly, with great attention to detail. I stayed here to celebrate my birthday, and the hotel truly made it special. They prepared a hotel souvenir and a complimentary birthday cake for me, and even decorated the room with artwork. The staff were incredibly thoughtful, constantly wishing me a happy birthday, which made me feel very touched. In the evening, there were live bands performing at the hotel — the atmosphere was amazing and full of energy. I really loved the vibrant vibe here. The food was quite good as well. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back again next time. 🎸🎂✨"

"We had a wonderful stay at Amansari Hotel Desaru. The room was clean, the staff were friendly and the facilities were excellent for families. Though it’s not directly by the beach, its location is convenient and peaceful. Perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway with great service and comfort!"

"Front desk service are good and friendly as we ask for room near the water themepark for my son easy access, they give the blk F which just infront of the water themepark. Good for short staycation for family. 👍👍👍"

"Overall ok for 1 night stay if you are looking for a decent place to sleep and shower. Room is quite clean. Some game facilities like table tennis, table pool, chess, carrom available for free. The main issue we had was the glass window in toilet lacking maintenance and became transparent. Management could have added laminate or paint over the glass."

"In the same style as the other Lotus Desaru, this one is much smaller in scale, and a lot friendlier and newer. The family accomodations for 4 are situated away from the seaward cluster and surround a small swimming pool."

"First time staying at Sands and Sandals resort and I think we would definitely visit again one day! Had a surprise decoration, thank you to the hotel staff for the balloons and cake and the beautiful set-up. Check in and check out was a breeze too, probably as we were not affected by the peak period. Breakfast was good too! Our second morning was more crowded but there were more choices too and it wss delicious. Room was comfortable and everything is provided, like towels, bath essentials, dental essentials. The connection of the tv was also a bit iffy but we didn't mind. Parking was also easy for us and location felt safe. Near to tourist attractions like Adventure Waterpark and Woodfire too! "A very interesting place to be with family"

"Location is good if going to desaru adventure water park but if to yard&co coffee, other famous nearby food location and mini zoo, it will take about 35 mins which is 30km away. Room is big but its abit rundown. Water heater is down on first day and only recover on 2nd day. Nothing much around and nearby food area is at SKS mall which is 5 - 8km away. Dont expect grab but you need to drive."
