The resort is serene, rooms are superb, everything seems to be nice and exuding an unforgettable experience. I checked in on 14th March, 2025 and checked out on 15th March, 2025. But this feeling just turns into a bad taste as soon as you check in. First, it took me hours to get room TV working, the TV was just loading page and nothing happened, I called the customer service, the phone was constantly busy, I got connect after a couple of hours, they would throw excuses that the guest may not have used the room phone correctly, wow, why then a connection established after such a long time, after dialling every now and then? Finally an operator picks up the phone, speaks weird English and says she doesn’t understand Hindi, I just banged my head against the wall, so wretched of me. Room slippers are UK-5 or UK-6 shoe size, I wondered, what their planning and sourcing team may have upto. I wanted to go to convention centre for lunch, as our events were arranged there, someone in the lobby told me that it was 100 metres walk, but it seemed a long trek to me, as I had a sore knee, all the travelators and escalators were powered down, and I just thought about calling for help. My ordeal, or someone can say, my bad luck,. Won’t just end there. After the event, we headed for dinner, I wanted a bowl of vegetable soup they were offering, the server was serving the soup from the same container, while adding prawns, fish, chicken or other meats for non-vegetarians, I am a vegetarian, and saw that he was wearing gloved in one hand for add ons, and meat debris were just falling in the container below, the meaning and purpose of a vegetarian offering was completely lost, it turned me off, I left the soup counter without soup, and I couldn’t even have my food after that, just ate half a bread and left. A beautiful property can’t make up for this pathetic service.
