I arrived a little late, but the elder brother was still enthusiastic to receive me and help me check in. He was very enthusiastic and warm. The gentle elder brother was like a family member. The room was clean and in a great location, close to most of Baoding's attractions, all within walking distance. To get a taxi, you need to walk out of the hotel parking lot and wait on the roadside. The room is on a lower floor, so it was a bit noisy. A card is required to go upstairs, but security was okay. The room window was a little drafty, but thankfully the curtains were thick. Breakfast was satisfying. The front desk allowed a late check-out, thank you. Overall, good value for money.

This hotel absolutely deserves a five-star rating! The environment is exceptionally nice, with soft, non-glaring lighting in the hallways. The rooms offer a fantastic view, and the windows are quite large. The facilities are comprehensive, including Wi-Fi, a laundry room, and a gym (though you need a card to enter). Cleanliness is also good; the tables are spotless, and the towels and bath towels are soft and reassuring. The service is incredibly attentive; the receptionist is super patient and always has a smile on her face – so comforting!

Parking is convenient, the rooms are clean, and the location is excellent—close to everything you need to explore, including most of Baoding's major attractions, all within walking distance. The front desk is also very efficient and organized. It's very suitable for road trips. However, the breakfast is absolutely terrible. Don't go there! It's not just a problem with the variety of dishes; the staff's hygiene is appalling. On March 7th, I personally witnessed the woman cooking noodles standing in front of the counter spitting and blowing her nose directly into the running water trough next to the pot! An old man in the kitchen was sneezing in the preparation area! Breakfast is probably outsourced to someone with connections; the selection is pitifully small, and the staff clearly don't want to serve you. The so-called ”zhao bing” (a type of flatbread) is just for show. They'll pretend it doesn't exist unless you ask! There are great breakfast shops just a few dozen meters away where you can get a very good meal for ten yuan!

The location is really convenient, you can walk to the Zhili Governor's Office and West Street, visit the ancient city, eat food are super close, travel is particularly worry-free. The hotel environment is quiet and elegant, quiet in the middle of noisy, and the living is very comfortable. After we decided to visit Baoding for the National Day holiday, I quickly booked our accommodation. After comparing several options, I chose this hotel because it's within walking distance to attractions like the Zhili Governor's Office. I booked it quite far in advance, so the price was really good (it went up later, so glad I snagged it early!). The room was very spacious. When we checked in, I asked about the buffet breakfast and decided to purchase it for both days since the discounted price was reasonable. It turned out to be a really satisfying buffet. We ran out of the complimentary bottled water in the room and could ask the front desk for more, which we did many times. In fact, we even filled up the hotel's provided water bottles with boiled water to take with us when we went out. This hotel definitely deserves a great review!
