The B&B is located right in the heart of the scenic area. Since it was Sunday night, the area wasn't crowded, so it wasn't too noisy. I've been to Hongcun and Xidi before, and the most valuable thing about Chaji right now is its lack of commercialization. If you're planning to visit with friends, it's best to go early.
