Anonymous UserWe booked the Superior Double Room and I felt it was well worth the extra for the gorgeous view we had from 2 large windows - whether the skies were sunny or cloudy.
The location was excellent - within 5 to 10mins walk to the town and to Derwent Water and parking was well explained and ample. On entering Fellpack House, it was pleasant, well cared for and inviting. Our room on the top floor (stairs all the way up) was straight out of a home & decor magazine. The amenities, furnishing, towels and beverages were quality stuff and we saw that they also used locally sourced soaps and beverages. Housekeeping was daily and I loved that the gave us delicious chewy chocolate chip cookies each day!
The breakfast was fresh & flavourful. That they started off as a restaurant (that operates across the road and is highly rated) carries through in their breakfast - I ate so much and it was worth every calorie!
Best of all were the staff. We met many over the course of our stay and every one of them were warm, chatty, highly customer-oriented and witty!
Can you tell how much I loved our stay there 😀

The environment and facilities of the B&B itself are very good, and it is a very atmospheric accommodation. The biscuits in the room were delicious, and the meals provided by the B&B were also good, but not cost-effective (some dishes were a bit salty). The location is relatively remote, and I feel that people who stay here generally drive their own cars. We are a bit far away from Keswick and Derwentwater, and if the bus stops, we can only call to book a taxi. However, the overall accommodation experience is still very good!

We drove here with our dog, and it was a fantastic stay! The hotel is about a 10-minute drive from the town centre, but the scenery is stunning, and both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. The room was small but cosy, and they allow dogs for a very small extra fee, which was great. Every member of staff was incredibly friendly, and the food at the partner restaurant really impressed me—it even made me fall in love with British food all over again! For the price and experience, this trip felt absolutely perfect. I loved every moment of it!

The window of the room is very small. On the fourth floor, it feels that the room for us is very small and very general. There is a moldy smell when entering the house. The room is generally hygienic. In terms of the price of this room, there is no price/performance ratio at all. The town is small and there is no need to live too close to the lake area. It takes two steps to get there. The parking is not good and the charge is 6 pounds. The old man is still enthusiastic and the attitude of others is average. Especially when I checked in, there was no elevator. In fact, it can be set in the vicinity of ten minutes drive no problem! Too much cost-effective
